The first one was produced by Borbardier in Canada and then was spread and made more efficient for countries... More

It was a nice visit, we liked the "aurora" room especially. Both kids and adults enjoyed the many exhibits.

I was surprised to learn about the arctic cicle and its people, its history and its culture. To tell you the truth what I learned made me feel more simpathetic to everything !

Lappish way of life and traditions via exhibitions and photos and by yourself. Go there and feel difference of building and area. See what it mean to be.Lappish. House itself is worth of visit and exhibitions will give the rest. Absolutely place to visit.

The museum has a fascinating exhibition about the life, cultures, wildlife, beliefs and challenges facing arctic communities around the world, including some fascinating insights into shamanism practised amongst some of the indigenous arctic cultures. The exhibition design in this section of the museum is, in my view, a slight disappointment and some of the content a little light but is... More

The building has a dramatic location by the river bank. The parts that you can see above the ground are all glass.
