This is an excellent museum covering the history of the city from prehistoric times, to Viking times, through the more recent growth due to international trade in the 17th to 20th centuries. Most of the captions have English translations. Note that for the two galleries that don't have translation posted books of the translated captions can be borrowed at the... more
