We visited during winter season, so the whole place was closed, but we could walk around freely, up to the manor house and see the interesting buildings at least from inside. English descriptions are provided at each stop so we could get at least some context.

I visited in 2008. Guide was excellent, spoke English well and said he learnt more from me than i did from him - I am a retired iron maker.

This really is a nice place to look around and get an impression on how the mill worked, Apart from the works, there are houses that show how life was in this age. Only the guide was very poor in English: she would talk in Swedish for five minutes and then two sentences in English. But you could not do... More

This place came as an surprise. The iron work is very well preserved, and a lot of the machines still works (they will start the water wheel during the tour and you might be able to give a hand in this).
