Liked: Comprehensive collection of swedish aviation. Can get close to the most of the aircraft. Disliked: not being able to get close to the Draken due to cold war exhibition. More

I think this is the best attraction in Linkoping, and it is a must, no matter how long are you staying here. It is not so long drive from Linoping, only few kilometers and it is easy to find the way to reach it. You need at least 2 hours to see everything However, You don't need to be an... More

Very nice aviation museum. Excellent and informative displays. Especially the DC-3 display and the cold war era sections. Even if you're not into aviation this museum is well worth a visit. More

This was my first trip here in a lot of years, the entire museum was rebuilt and there was a lot more new to test and watch in the exhibition. If you are interested in history, this is for sure one of the best museums to visit in this area, also for technical people this is very good. I was... More

The Swedish Air Force Museum, just outside Linkoping, is a real find. This is an up-to-date modern museum, not just a musty collection of dusty airplanes. Swedish aircraft from biplanes through modern supersonic jets are displayed, with the accent on the Cold War Era. In the basement is an impressive display of a crashed C-47 that the Soviets shot down... More

The Swedish Air Force museum has a large collection of well preserved planes that have served the Swedish Airforce. The museum was recently expanded and refurbished. It is a very nice museum by international standards and one of the best in Sweden. The museum caters for all ages and has aviation related attractions for children as well as adults. The... More

For anyone who wants a great day out from Stockholm this is definately the thing to do. Depending on the train you catch the journey to Linkoping can take from 1.5 to 2.5 hours. However the trains in Sweden run on time and are very clean and comfortable, though not cheap. The train journey passes easily with some magnificant countryside... More
