We went in to get traditional FIKA (coffee+pastry) while it was raining outside (traditional swedish summer). The design and atmosphere ate great, you will find lots of good food like fresh fish, chocolate pralines, jams, meat, cheese etc here, everything looks amazing except the pricetags :D Stockholm is very expensive, but fika here was just 40 krownes, everything else was... We came with very high hopes, especially since we love food markets. Upon arrival though, we were shocked by prices, lack of overall variety, and the general 'upscaleness' of this place. Only the well heeled need visit. 250-300 SEK for a single plate of food. Even the bakeries were ridiculous - 78 SEK for a single baked good at some... More

Great range of food on offer, leaning more towards the deli end of the spectrum, but with something for everyone. Bear in mind that since this is not just in Stockholm, but in one of its more prestigious areas, the prices tend to match; unless you're made of money I wouldn't recommend doing your weekly shop here ;) There are... Very nice market with fresh foods. It also has restaurants and bars for you to eat and drink. No doubt must be visited by those who like markets

Happened to stumble upon this market hall by mistake and we were really happy about that! We couldn't stop looking at all the different types of cheese and cuisines. Great for seafood lovers and decent coffee.

If you love food its fascinating to visit, even if you don't eat there or buy anything. You can buy some great produce and there are several options to eat. We had lunch at Tysta Mari and although it wasn't cheap it was delicious and fun.

Loved every minute of walking through this market. All the cold cuts, meat, fish both cooked and uncooked looked devine! We ate there too and the food was great!

The images speak for themselves. Go here on your last day and ask the traders to vacuum pack Swedish delicacies like hand cut smoked salmon, smoked eel, caviar, smoked reindeer meat and västerboten cheese.

If you do not speak swedish they wil treat you mean. Shame, specially if you are paying for that "privilege" Otherwise Saluhall is worth the visit. June 3, 2015
