Been here everytime I go to Stockholm. Market and foodcourt. Not your ordinary food court. Go in and sample different stands and restaurants. There is a seafood restaurant in the back (forget the name) that makes an outrageous seafood soup. And the fried herring. Absolutely delicious.

Went on a Monday, lovely fresh fruit and veg, flowers, clothes and bags, but lacked atmosphere. We arrived about 1130 and it was dead. Went to the Urban Cafe in Gamla Brogatan and enjoyed a green tea sitting out on their terrace. Very reasonable and pleasant. Perhaps the market livens up later, it looks so tempting but without many shoppers... More

It's part of the itinerary on the hop on hop off bus . It's an open market , everything here is cheaper compare to the shops . I bought some Sweden tshirt here which is much cheaper than the Västerlånggatan street at old town . Fruits and flowers stalls to be seen , and guy playing the cellos making me... More

Quaint and nice to walk around and look at what the different merchants offering although some traders are loud and nagging. In combination with Hotorgshallen is a culinary experience to walk around and look and taste. An experience not to be missed when visiting Stockholm.

It is quite amazing to find a nice food market in the middle of the city. The sell fresh vegetables and fruit, so just buy some and eat while exploring the city.

The outside market is a lot of fruit vendors, which is nice, but the better food is inside the mall on the lower level. We found some smoked salmon from somewhere belo and took it to go. It was very delicious, one of the best salmon I've ever had.

I bought Italian chocolates and ate here for delicous fresh cooked buckwurst sausages. It's cheap here however, there is no area for you to sit down. There are lot of things to shop here almost everything are food , fruits and even souveniers.

The food hall at Hötorget (Hötorgshallen) has been renovated and it is a huge improvement. The Systembolaget (alcohol store) is now much better located in one corner (rather than directly in front of the escalators), some of the stalls are larger and there are great little cafes to grab a bite to eat. The three fish stalls are excellent (Hav... More
