Newly refurbished marketplace in the heart of Stockholm. You can find everything (and more)edible here in a vibrant atmosphere. Try the Tunisian take-out, have at a fish restaurant or a glass of wine at after work. Watching the assortment of people here is watching a city in action. And do not miss the Finnish stand with all the treats; from... More

Cheerful and quite loud - here salespeople try to sell you vegetables, flowers, fruit and some other stuff. There are plenty of special prices and bargains to be made. The salespeople are fast to make deals and I have always been satisfied with quality and price. The best deals are made just before closing time 6 o'clock. This is maybe... More

fresh fruit and veg market on the street outside-lingonberries and mushroom varieties -in the building, in the basement, there is a 2 story marketplace-stalls of chocolates, breads, fish-and more, and places to eat. The fish soup at Kagsas Fisk was terrific (thank you Rick Steves travel guide!) Not as fancy as Saluhall but just as good I think.

The square between the Stockholm Concert Hall (where the Nobel Prices are awarded) and the department store PUB houses the open air market, mainly for fruits and vegetables, but also flowers and souvenirs and a few cloth stands. What is remarkable are the comparatively low prices at this outdoor market compared to other food stores, but be careful and inspect... More

We saw all the wonderful photos from other visitors this were looking forward to grab our lunch there. When we arrived, all we saw were scattered stalls selling flowers, fruit, and clothes. Super disappointed ;( Guess a note for those who go in winter time, don't expect much unless you are going for fruits and flowers. Luckily we found a... More

I read wonderful reviews on this Hay Market before going there. This is a very small market and most items are expensive 70s-80s knick-knacks that neither have historical or decorative value. Since it is likely that you will be around this area during your stay, it may be worth a visit, but do not plan your day around this or... More

The Hötorget has plenty of flowers, fruits and vegetables of the season to buy and is lovely just by itself, but be sure to visit the food court under the square. There's just so many things to buy and even enjoy lunch or cup of coffee.

I loved this place. In Norrmalm area, near the busiest shopping street, not to be missed. You can just wander around the outside market and enjoy the way they present their food or go inside the food hall and enjoy the lovely displays of food they have. Or you can be brave and try some of the lovely food thye... More

Been here everytime I go to Stockholm. Market and foodcourt. Not your ordinary food court. Go in and sample different stands and restaurants. There is a seafood restaurant in the back (forget the name) that makes an outrageous seafood soup. And the fried herring. Absolutely delicious.
