This is the old market for farmers produce. Today you will find fruit, flowers, various food stuff, accessories, souvenirs - anything that sells. The people minding the stalls are often 'new Swedes' that is immigrants. They have good voices and if you come late in the day you can pick up the fragile things for half price (e.g. strawberries, mushrooms).... More

Just a food market, all the stalls are the same. Worth a 2min walk through if in the area, but not worth a special trip.

Situated in front of the Concert Hall (where the Nobel Prizes are handed out) this is a classic part of Stockholm. You are smack in the middle and most of the noteworthy things around the city centre are just a short walk away. The market itself is what most markets are - don't forget to barter!

I love this place, the fruit is delicious and much cheaper that buying at a supermarket. If you go in the inside market you can find authentic mexican and latin american ingredients, super expensive compared to the actual value, but hey they put them in stockholm for you. It is a very lively place.

OK to pass on your stroll in down town Stockholm. But it´s not worth any extra effort. It´s just a square and in weekende it´s nothing to it at all.

Nice market with flowers, fruit and lot of things you need and do not need! they may scream yalla-yalla to you, and someone may have a cousin who wants to marry you, but just relax and look around. They are all friendly, and hopefully you find something interesting to buy at a low price.
