Just to say you've been there

The Ice Bar is just one of those things u check off your list. It's kind of expensive and just a tiny little bar that u need not stay in for more than 20 minutes or so.

This was a great and unique experience with friends. Very expensive but probably worth the spend based on the novelty of it all. Alcohol is crazy expensive inside the ice bar.

Yes, it's touristy. Yes, it's very cold. They provided protection. But, it is great fun to have a drink once you get inside. Louis was very helpful to me when he suggested I cover up under their parka. It's a great place for a photo. I liked it.

At the back of the lobby of an otherwise modern hotel. It's small but fascinating; made from bubbleless ice from a river in northern Sweden that apparently freezes very slowly. It's a brief tour; we were there maybe 15 minutes. The ice carvings (reindeer, palm trees (?), old town Stockholm) are interesting and drinking from an ice glass is an... More

This is a small venue but quite unique. A small room and bar built entirely of ice. Admission gets you one free drink. You will only do it once as once is enough but it is fun to see in a city

Definitely for tourists but hey, I was a tourist. We were a group of about 30, all ages including a couple children. The venue is well organized, gimmicky and fun. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Great photo opportunity looking silly in puffy parkas and hoods and mittens on strings. Drinks ample and tasty - vodka/lingonberry juice when we visited. Not... More

Ok, it is touristy and kind of overpriced BUT, we had a ball!! It was clean, the drinks were actually good (even if slightly overpriced), and the suits we had to wear were not stinky. They suggest you only stay in the bar for 45 minutes but no one is really checking. Plenty of neat ice carvings for pictures and... More

This is something everyone should try at least once. It was rather expensive, around $65 CAD for 2 people which includes one drink each, but it is worth it. Its all Ice, the bar, the glasses, the seats, tables everything and it is quite an experience. You don't need long, half hour is plenty of time for the ice bar.

They encourage you to make reservations, but on a Wednesday evening around 9:00 PM we were able to get right in without a reservation. The decor was all made of ice and attractive. The bar tender was friendly and accommodating. The admission price includes one vodka based cocktail in a glass made of ice. Capes with mittens are supplied. While... More

This is a fun place and worth finding. Pretty close to central station. You wear a fur lined poncho with mittens and get a cocktail included in an ice glass
