This is something everyone should try at least once. It was rather expensive, around $65 CAD for 2 people which includes one drink each, but it is worth it. Its all Ice, the bar, the glasses, the seats, tables everything and it is quite an experience. You don't need long, half hour is plenty of time for the ice bar.

They encourage you to make reservations, but on a Wednesday evening around 9:00 PM we were able to get right in without a reservation. The decor was all made of ice and attractive. The bar tender was friendly and accommodating. The admission price includes one vodka based cocktail in a glass made of ice. Capes with mittens are supplied. While... More

This is a fun place and worth finding. Pretty close to central station. You wear a fur lined poncho with mittens and get a cocktail included in an ice glass

This is something different to try. The bar only holds 30 so booking in advance is advised. A visit is cheap being 205kr for an adult and for that you receive a coat and gloves plus a choice of various vodka based cocktails at the bar. You drink from glasses made from ice which is very novel. Everything apart. From... More

A warm poncho with attached mittens is provided to you before entering the bar area. The ice is beautiful and had many decorative etchings that were fun to see. The drink you select is served in an ice glass.. .fun thing to do once. . Make a reservation on line.

Very kitschy but super fun. They provide you with a warm cloak and gloves. The drinks are pretty good and they have great names like Husky Sled. 15min inside is plenty to grab a drink and take a ton of selfies.

Not really the most exciting experience but still a fun one and your friends will definitely ask you if you went there when you return home. Not even a very big cocktail but they were tasty. We got the Northern Lights and one with Fox in the name (and it had Logan berries). Northern Lights was really really smooth.

Did no expect a lot from this "tourist trap" but sometimes I am wrong- this was one of those times. I recommend entering through the hotel entrance and walk into the reception area. BTW there are m/w bath rooms leading to the ice bar. Gentlemen will enjoy the very unique red paint on every surface- something very unusual. We did... More

I loved this bar. I felt a bit worried before I went in as I was on my own. Being given a huge padded poncho with gloves to enter made it very comfortable. The temperature is -5c but didn't feel like it. Even the glass you drink your cocktail out of is made of ice. Nothing negative to say about... More

Our extended family was in Stockholm for a few days last month and we'd decided to visit the Ice Bar, even though many people said it was touristy. Anyway, didn't regret our decision, it was a fun visit, where else do you get to go to a bar made completely of ice? I had some trouble booking online but they... More
