Found this advertised on the net when checking out what to do while on an overnight Stockholm stop with a cruise. The cruise was also advertising a trip, but of course included a nominal cost for transportation. My party figured we would be out and about anyway, so no need to be transported to this hotel from the cruise ship.... More

It's worth the trip, at the least for a few fun photos! Admission price included 1drink. It's very small inside and you have to wear their community ponchos to protect the ice from your body heat, not the other way around! The drinks are simple hard liquor (vodka, tequila, rum) based. Served in ice cube glasses. No beer or wine.

This bar is built by ice only and is of course not very big so there is limited amount of people allowed to enter. Outside you are equipped with a warm cape which is needed in the -7 degree cold in the bar. Drinks are good and its a fun experience.

Once you pay the admission fee which includes one drink, the cashier helps you put on thick capes made of fur and plastic that resembles a tarp. Attached to the cape are a set of gloves so that you can handle your ice cup without getting frostbite. Once you are suited up, you are led to a door that takes you... More

Yes, it is rather expensive - but what isn't in Sweden?? Your entry fee included one drink. It's not overly huge - but worth a stop. Been there - done that, sort of thing!

We booked in here but we probably didn't need to (apart from it being cheaper to book in advance) as it wasn't very busy... It was very well presented although smaller than I imagined and the drinks were good... A strange suggestion maybe, but the pictures show brightly lit up drinks and we found it difficult to take a similar... More

As this is associated with the famous icehotel, i was expecting more ice designs e.g sculptures, space and use of fur on the ice benches. However, i found it to be the same as other icebars.

My friends and I recently paid a visit here, on our last night in Stockholm, after reading many great reviews and we were not disappointed. It was a truly unique experience, surrounded by amazing ice sculptures. Staff were great and the drinks were delicious. A must try during a trip to Stockholm.

Since it's claimed to be the original, we felt it was one thing we had to do on our trip to Stockholm. We did not sign up for a tour and we tried to get tickets in advance, but could not get an appropriate time to allow us to make it back to our cruise ship. Instead we arrived early,... More

It's definitely a fun thing to do while in Stockholm and a novelty coming from Brisbane Australia. A bit expensive, but its all good fun and the drinks were great. The staff were very friendly and because we were not in peak season we could stay a bit longer than the usual time allowed. We still had to book though,... More
