You need to book this bar - and 40 minutes is the maximum stay, though that is long enough. Its a tough job keeping it frozen - there are a few doors to go through. Anyway you are kitted out with a cape and gloves. The drinks were lovely though the place does lack atmosphere. Well worth a visit though. More

Something that has to be done if you're in Stockholme. It costs around £18 pp which includes a cocktail/soft drink. I lasted about half an hour before my fingers went numb! More

This was something my girlfriend especially wanted to do on our trip to Stockholm, so we visited one evening after a dinner elsewhere. We had a little difficulty finding the place - its located in the Nordic Hotel, and right outside the Arlanda Express terminal at Central Trainstation - but a friendly local pointed us in the right direction -... We went to the Icebar last night and it is really just for fun. We did not have a booking so had to wait 25 minutes to get in which was fine. The entry cost was about $28 AU which included one drink. We got our cold weather cape on, went in and had our drinks (vodka based and very... More

This is a small bar that holds may be 30-40 people. It cost's about $30-$40 to enter and a free drink. The novelty wares off after 15 min. I would only go if you want to say you've been there. It's not really worth the $. More

The icebar is an "okay" experience, they provide you a heavy winter coat and a free drink served on an ice-glass. But the whole hype lasts for about 10 minutes, once you get inside then you realise the place is too small and there is really nothing to do there, other than fell cold and cool having a drinking at... This is an interesting place to go. It is very near the Arlanda Express train from the airport. We tried to get in on a Friday night, were told it was booked up but that around 9:30/9:45, they would start letting people in on a first come first serve basis. We got in easily at around 10pm. Absolut is a... More

We visited the ice bar in May-- we'd made reservations a few months ahead online. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservations and were told to take a seat to wait. While we did wait our turn, an entire bus load of tourists showed up and got first entrance, which we thought was rude since there was 2 of us... More

We were in the Ice Bar in Stocklholm in late July 2006. We were late for our reservation but found the staff to be very, very helpful and attentive while we waited our turn in the Ice Bar. Once in, it was pure fun! Try it! More
