We have been on food tours in other cities including New York and this was by far the very best. Our tour, Nordic Experience and SoFo, encompassed shops in two areas of Stockholm: Normalm and Soldermalm. It is a good introduction to these areas of the city and, as others have said, is better taken at the beginning of your... More

My mother and I were looking for something fun, yet informative to do during our trip to Stockholm in early July, 2014. And Food Tours Stockholm was one of the best experiences we've ever had! Our guide, Fredrik, was very patient, and seemed extremely passionate about the tour. We had a young girl (about 8) in our group, and at... More

I have been on a number of food tours in the past few years. This tour was the best one yet. Fredrick has put together a well organized, delicious and informative tour. At each stop you get a full explanation of what you are eating from the staff or proprietor. I recommend doing this tour near the beginning of your... More

The Nordic food tour was fantastic. It starts in the market place in the centre of Stockholm. Ludde took us to 4 delicatessens where we learned and tasted varieties of cold meats, cured reindeer, moose, Finnish pierogi and some beautiful cheeses. We were taken into the cold room under the market and shown cheese up to 8 years old. I... More

Did the Nordic tour this afternoon with Ludvig as our guide. He was great, the food was wonderful, and everyone had a blast. We were three adults and two kids (7&10). Highlights included tasty cheeses, reindeer mousse, swedish meatballs, herring, and great personalities along the way.

The tour was almost 4 hours with stops at 8 places for food and sometimes drinks as well. You can skip dinner that night! You might wonder how many places would be typical of Swedish restaurants but only 1 was actually the ONLY meatball specialty place in Sweden! We also visited 2 authentic Chinese (Beijing style and dumpling specialty), Indian,... More

We had a great day walking around and eating entirely too much. This tour is a great way to sample things like pickled herring and reindeer for the more adventurous. Highly recommend.

I am recommending the Nordic Food Tour. I recently did the Nordic Food Tour with these guys, and it was an afternoon full of delicious samples of Scandinavian food and interesting introductions to some food related places (such as the market) and people. The afternoon is hosted well, and you will be completely full from all of the food (even... More

This was a wonderful afternoon of food tasting, seeing Stockholm and getting some history of the city as well. Fredrick was an amazing food tour guide. Fredrick's energy and enthusiasm for the city and its food made the tour so much fun. It was the highlight of my vacation in Stockholm. The food was interesting and tasty. We were introduced... More
