The gardens of Rosendal are a nice visit if you lika to explore flowers in bloom. A visit to the restaurant/cafe is a must if you're living in Stockholm. As a tourist this could very well be the best experience you get of Swedish 'fika'-culture during your visit in0 Stockholm!

When the weather is good, this is a lovely spot to rest, eat, enjoy the flowers and plants, and recharge, before continuing to explore Djurgården.

Took the bus to Djurgarden then walked across the park. Six adults, two small babies. It really is a lovely setting with pretty grounds, good food, friendly staff and some excellent little shops. So good, we went back for a second time.

Beautiful walk with lovely gardens and a shop selling very traditional foods and pastries and garden themed items. Also, there are other restaurants and coffee shops about to try.

Staying in Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn

Neighborhood Profile
Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn
The island of Djurgården and its northern mainland extension, Djurgårdsbrunn, impress with a mix of nature and an abundance of museums, while being located in walking distance to Stockholm’s city center. Djurgården not only invites visitors to take endless walks through a beautiful park landscape without having to leave the city, but also offers an incredible range of entertainment facilities, such as an open air museum which specializes in the Swedish way of life pre-industrialization, the renowned Vasa Museum with its legendary sailing ship, and Sweden’s most famous amusement park Gröna Lund, which is more than a 100 years old.
