Rosendals' Garden is an oasis in the heart of our Stockholm, an inspiration for enjoyable, sustainable living and a role model for people living in urban settings. For more than thirty years Rosendals' Garden Foundation has cultivated and spread biodynamic farming practices and has been a driver of the farm to fork concept. Our renowned cafe/ restaurant, wood-fired stone oven bakery and boutique are focused on highlighting the beauty and variety of flavours of locally produced organic ingredients including our own vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and honey. Explore the orchard that boasts over 50 different kinds of apples, the rose garden, pre-school teaching greenhouse and garden, vineyard, green houses, a garden center, vegetable and flower gardens and even the beehives. We even custom grow and supply vegetables to some of Stockholm's best restaurants. Opening times vary through the season - see website for more info. The gardens are expansive and varied. Much to see and enjoy and even taste. Reminded me of some of the beautiful flowers on Block Island, Rhode Island and the gardens in London parks. Easily reachable by 7 tram and aninexpensive, worthwhile outing in Stockholm.

If you're lucky enough to be in Stockholm on a sunny warm day, and you like botanic gardens, don't miss it. There's also a shop selling everything from cut flowers to apple trees. And cafes

Had a nice walk through Rosendal gardens on my way to the palace, and I was so happy when I saw all the beautiful flowers they had. A lovely, lovely place.

We simply loved this beautiful place - just grab some delicious food, put it on a tray and find a table somewhere in the garden under a tree... Fantastic! Dont miss it, if the weather allows it! :-)

Take the bus there or go for a walk in the big park - Djurgarden. This is an oasis och plants and flowers, a nice cafe and restaurant. Have a cup of coffee or a meal in the garden, relax and just be amazed that you're acutually still in central Stockholm.

It was the national holiday of Kristihimmelsfart so along with many locals we headed for Rosendal's Garden in Djurgarden. Rosendal's Tradgarden , as it is called in Swedish, surrounds the palace used by royalty to escape from the hustle and bustle of Stockholm proper. It is a wonderfully rustic area of gentle hills, big trees and was once developed by... More

the park is nice and you can walk safely away from traffic; there is a nice flower garden with a pleasant café; and it is somewhat away from the large crowds on Djurgarden;

Really nice atmosphere here. We enjoyed a nice stroll on a sunny Monday. The cafe and green house are a must visit! Plenty of tables there to soak up of the sunshine!

It is a wonderful surronding and good homemade food and pastries. Don't have to eat if you don't feel like it, just a cup of coffee or a glas of wine. In nature with birds and flowers everywhere in the summer and you can buy, flowers and vegetables there as well.
