Rosendals' Garden is an oasis in the heart of our Stockholm, an inspiration for enjoyable, sustainable living and a role model for people living in urban settings. For more than thirty years Rosendals' Garden Foundation has cultivated and spread biodynamic farming practices and has been a driver of the farm to fork concept. Our renowned cafe/ restaurant, wood-fired stone oven bakery and boutique are focused on highlighting the beauty and variety of flavours of locally produced organic ingredients including our own vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and honey. Explore the orchard that boasts over 50 different kinds of apples, the rose garden, pre-school teaching greenhouse and garden, vineyard, green houses, a garden center, vegetable and flower gardens and even the beehives. We even custom grow and supply vegetables to some of Stockholm's best restaurants. Opening times vary through the season - see website for more info. One of the best things about Sweden are the MANY parks and gardens. Many green spaces for everyone to enjoy. Rosendals is wonderful. In June the air is thick with the smell of Jasmine. Very highly recommend for a nice romantic stroll.

Set in beautiful green grounds and orchards, this is a wonderful place for couples and families to visit in summer, just off the busy city museums and streets. Try the local cafe/restaurant for organic meals and desserts

Lovely location, walk in the garden and get relaxed. Bring picnic or visit the café in the greenhouse. They have a shop whith organic products. Obesely is nice in the summer as well, as it is a garden.

The perfect antidote after our visit to The ABBA museum - a short walk away these beautiful gardens, meadows and orchards are blissful. The café was recommended but closed for a private event the afternoon we went. You could certainly take a picnic and enjoy the many garden rooms at your leisure.

It is always nice to take a long walk around the Djurgården, and it is a must to have "fika" in this cafeteria. One must sit outside when weather is sunny. Recommended during spring, summer, and autumn.

Rosendals trädgård in Djurgården is a perfect place for a lunch/brunch. Almost everything served is grown in the garden. Great food and lovely and fascinating gardens to look at. There is also a "play ground" near, with a labyrinth.

Rosendals Garden is a nice place to go to if you want to get away from the inner city of Stockholm. I can't say much about the botanical aspects of the garden apart from that it is beautiful (but not even close to the Botanical Garden in Gothenburg). On a nice spring/summer/fall day it's a great place to have a... More

Locals have a special place in their heart for Rosendals Garden. We were told about the garden by many different Stockholm residents and shown it by one friend. There is a nice cafe on the grounds that offers coffee, teas, cakes and savories. While we enjoyed a stroll through the garden, I'm not sure it's worthy of a TOP attraction.... More

My favorite aspect about this place is that one can rent scissors and cut flowers from the amazing garden. You pay by weight. Not understanding the exchange rate correctly having only Swedish coins and no ATM card the first time I ever visited, I cut all the stems on the short side and the girl who rang me up assumed...
