Rosendal's Garden is a great end destination goal to get you out and about on Djurgården. The walk there is lovely, the gardens, Castle grounds, and cafe, greenhouses, and shops are all fun to browse in. The outdoor, garden cafe even serves wine. The U-pick flower garden is a must.

Rosendal's garden is stunningly beautiful. A great area to walk, relax, have a bite to eat and good conversation over fiskars.

We had read of this place, but finding it proved a little more difficult - if only we had gone on the number 7 tram to start with! It is a rural oasis, very Nordic, very green, very sustainable, with a lovely ambience, and a delightful cafe serving delicious food just 10 minutes from the city. We went after a... More

Delightful gardens and orchards, with beautiful cafes housed in rambling greenhouses... loved it. Especially taken with the little signs hanging from the apple trees ... "please don't pick me, I want to grow up to be a pie" :-)

A serene location for a lunch, a glass of wine and some pastry. Set in a small country house for royals in a quiet garden oasis of the bustling city of Stockholm.

Lovely environment, with only two or three main choices, but they use produce grown their and everything is well cooked. A great choice, especially when nice weather!

Four of us had a lovely walk and were lucky to find a perfect table in the orchard to sit under the trees and enjoy a simple lunch. A very Swedish experience. We were just in time to collect very tasty sandwiches and cakes and have a semi picnic in the garden. It was hard to believe we were in... More

Rosendal is a less known pearl on the island of Djurgården, where other more famous attractions draw most of the visitors. Easily reached by tram 7 from Sergels Torg. Delicious lunch in a cafe in one of the green houses, organic products for sale as well.

We walked from Vasa museum to Rosendal and it was a much longer walk than we had expected. We were very tired and very hungry and wanted to have lunch, but it was almost 2 PM and they were about to close the cafè. Fortunately there were still some food so we were satisfied. You could sit outside in the... More
