If you need a rest from shopping, just take a break at Kulturhuset, have something to eat or drink. In the evenings there are all the famous theatres in the building.
I had heard a lot about the Kulturhuset as a vibrant place of art shows, performances, events and learning/workshop options, with a number of food options and a play place for kids. Visit Stadsteatern located in Kulturhuset or take the elevator all the way to the top for a visit to the rooftop café! Brilliant views and a perfect place to take a break from shopping!

Great place to chill, nothing more nothing less. The free exchibitions are mostly a waist of time. But sometimes they are exceptional. You never know...just the way it is supposed to be with art.
Plenty of shops in the area so this it's pretty busy and full of life. There are a few cafes/restaurants but all a little samey and quite expensive. Interesting sculpture in the centre and there seems to be lots of outdoor events, depending when you visit.
