Kulturhuset is the place to be in Stockholm. Events, exhibitions, theater, cinema, it all happens there. Good café and shops also! If you are in Stockholm during the summer, the rooftop restaurant is a must. Great views

Overlooking the Sergel Plaza, Kulturhuset is a central hotspot in Stockholm housing theatre, cafées as well as a library.

Lots of different activities. Especially "Rum för barn" (Room for kids) are a really good dull day activity for kids of ages 3-10 with lots of cosy book corners, painting etc Also the roof terrace cafe is a good place for some food and a beer

Kulturhuset hosts a variety of interesting exhibitions, performances and activities within its Soviet-style frame. The café/lunch restaurant on top provides a wonderful view out over central Stockholm, there's even a terrace where you can sit when the weather permits. Don't be put off by the ghastly exterior, once you get inside there's all sorts of nooks and crannies to go... More

Kulturhuset is easily reached as it is in the centre of town adjacent to the T-central station. It occupies many floors and there are great views of the City the higher you go. An excellent library and exhibitions feature with regular talks by local and international people are held regularly and reasonable cost. Catering is very good. This is a... More

Always a hit, with great Cafes, a whole session for teens and another one for children, besides the great exhibits always changing. Great option for a rainy day in Stockholm.

It's located at Segelstorg and it's in the midtown. You can't miss it as it is a landmark for Stockholm city. A lot of people go to Kulturhuset for exhibitions and at the top floor you can enjoy the view and have a delicious lunch at the same time. I found it is quite interesting with different exhibitions and it's... More

Perhaps one of my favorite places in the city, Kulturhuset really has something for everyone. Library card carrying residents can go to the ground floor and peruse the library's shelves while those looking for a snack or a cup of coffee can head up to the upper floors where the building has its cafe/restaurant. Tip: try to visit the topmost... More
