If the weather is nice there is nothing better than renting a canoe by the bridge to Vasa Museum (go there). Paddle across to the king's castle, then reverse course and go under the bridge, past all the boats on the left, and keep going until you stop for ice cream at the quaint old building on the left.

The best thing about the city is the beauty of these canals . The ferries , boats connect the small island , the trams take you all over ,you buy one ticket and can travel in bus, train, tram, boat , ferry . The validity is for 24 hours .

We did both by boat and walked,it is a great way to see the history and the old buildings. If walking there is enough land marks you can look up to get your bearing. Overall a brilliant city

Very interesting boat trip around Stockholm, got to see somethings we would not of seen otherwise. The boat was in good condition and the information provided added quite well to the experience. Recommended for a days outing

You'll get the best experience if you travel by boat on the canals. It could also be romantic and beautiful to just walk along or on the bridges that cross the canals. Some places is quite popular for fishing. But you shouldn't swim in this water, because the water is a little dirty and it's very rapid in the canals.

Stockholm is one of the truly beautiful cities ever and what a perfect way to see the sights than by enjoying the canals. Riding the ferry is fun and you meet lots of people, both locals and visitors. Several school children were having fun interacting with Stockholm visitors as they practiced their language lessons. It was fun to listen and... More

Jumped on a ferry to get around the city, was a beautiful way of seeing Stockholm. Nice to seat back and take it all in, great for some scenic photos too.

The Stockohm in one day on was a nice 2.5 hours boat ride with headset tour narration for $50. You get to see everything and learn about history for each landmark. Very beautiful, relaxing and romantic. You get to go through bridges, canals, around islands and beaches.

Rent a kayak and get busy on the Stockholm canals. Great fun, and you see tyhe city from another angle. Possibble to use an SUP too.
