We enjoyed the Bridges tour very much - great way to take a break from a day of walking around Gamle Stan and surrounding area. Reccomend it very much.

If the weather permits, there is no better way to travel around Stockholm taking in the sights than this. It saves your feet too!

When we took the boat tour (Mid-April 2013), the canals were still choked with ice, and the journey was re-routed. Phone ahead.

It's nice to just sit on a boat and do some sightseeing from the water. I usually always take a tour on a boat when there is one like in Paris and Amsterdam. It's a nice way to relax and see the city from another angle.

It's lovely to just able around, crossing bridges, looking at the water. we went on a 2.5 hour boat trip around the archipelago and would definitely recommend it. great to see all the different islands, big and small, and some lovely houses. Wrap up warm though. There was still ice in mid April.

I did enjoy my time on the canals of Stockholm. I regularly took the ferry from Skeppsholmen to Djursgarden (Sic), and to Slussen. We also took a canal ride. We did the 'Royal Canal' trip but I would recommend the bridges of Stockholm as better value and more interesting. We couldn't do the bridges because of 'ice' further down the... More

Stockholm which is located on both the Baltic and lake Mälar is most beutifully experienced from the waters around it. You can get a sightseeing boat from outside the Grand Hotel and then spend some hours on the canals of Stockholm watching this beautiful city.

While Stockholm's canals aren't as extensive or quaint as Amsterdam's there still gorgeous. Stockholm is made up of a group of islands so there's plenty to see.

I went ice-skating on them. This may be illegal (it probably would be in England and some Swedes thought I was mental) but it was surreal and fun. Tack Stockholm!!

Since I am living in this city since last 4 years. I have got ample opportunities to enjoy the beauty of these canals. They are fascinating, be it summers or iced topped in winters. A must visit if you are visiting the city.
