Most of the boat tours leave from Strömkajen in front of the Grand Hotel - nearest T-bana is Kungsträdgården. The boats are your typical tourist glassed in boats with... More

There are different tours; I took one that went to several bridges and neighborhoods. It gave me a great idea of what the archipelago is about, as well as some of its History.

The canals of Stockholm are very large separated the tonw in more thatn 15 islands. All the residents have the option for fun using sail boats, sea bicycles, and even to swim. The canal views of the town are great.

Stockholm was on my Scandinavian tour , every place has its own canal tour. It was a nice one no doubt , but just OK when you compare it to Amsterdam canals or even Helsinki tour. It is a must go . just don’t expect amazing .

Cannot imagine visiting Stockholm - the city on water - without the exploration of its canals. The trip was very enjoyable, interesting with informative commentaries, great photo opportunities all around you. Simply unforgettable.

We did the Under the Bridges boat trip that took one hour and 50 minutes. It's operated by the same company that does the hop on and hop off boat trips.. The boat was covered which was good as rain threatened but didn't come. You are given a set of ear phones which you plug into a console and can... More

Take the boat tour. You will have a good idea of the many canals, the port, islands and different areas of the ciy. It takes about forty minutes, large boats with recorded audio material in different languages.

Take the red boat witch arranges the royal palace and canals trip. If the weather is good, you should try to get a seat outside in the back of the boat. NB! Not possible to listen to the speakers outside. Bring a camera.
