I had a walking tour in Old city district and I enjoyed it sooooo much!!! Our tour guide - Annelie is very open person. She's knowledgeable and know how to talk about her city in a very interesting way. I've learned a lot of things which I haven't even read in guidebooks! I strongly recommend this tour for everyone. The tour covered roughly 15 major points of interest, 1.4 miles, and took about 1.5 hours. The subject matter was well thought out and interesting. The guide even included printed photos of relevant people/things to illustrate who exactly she was talking about. In my opinion, what would make the tour more interesting would be more casual topics, like the average... More

We did this tour on our last morning in Stockholm before heading home in the afternoon, and my boyfriend and I agreed it was one of the best things we had done over the four days- we couldn't believe it was free. The tour guide knew so much about the city and it was so interesting to hear about the... More

We rushed our whole breakfast at our hotel to make it to the tour at 11 am on 8th April, guess what, no one showed up. We waited for 15 min in the rain and gave up, then we realised that as all the shops and many attractions were closed for the Easter holiday, Free Tours decided to take a... More

Dear leolion13, We're sorry that you didn't make it to our tour. However, it was NOT cancelled. We DON'T cancel tours. The guide was there for 10 minutes before, and since our first stop is right there, the group stays until about 10 minutes past the starting time. If you'd like, you can see a picture from the tour on... More

This is one of the best tours I've been on. Kevin was my guide and was informative, entertaining and helpful. His information went beyond the usual guidebook overview. I am so glad I went on this on the beginning of my time in Stockholm--not only did I get a good basic overview of the city center, but also some knowledge... More

Even that it was raining the guid was very entertaining and motivated to make the best out of the situation :) Got a lot of Information which you probably will not get with a normal tour and you will not be bored with numbers, years and the basic history stuff you could read in every guide book. Dear PatrikHerr, We're so glad that you enjoyed the tour so much that you didn't mind the rain! And we're glad you like the way we chose to tell our stories - we try to find the quirky, weird, funny, mysterious and toe-curling aspects of Stockholm's history: it's what we would like to hear if we were taking a tour!...
