This is a little gem on the island of Lindingo. The garden has a wonderful view over the city and is full of Carl Milles sculptures. The place has a lovely ambiance and is worth the extra effort to get there from the centre of Stockholm.

This is a small but perfectly formed outdoor sculpture park. Getting to the park involved a train ride to Ropsten and a bus ride- so it isn't the easiest of places to get to. Worth that little bit of extra effort though and some of the sculptures defy gravity. An excellent way of spending 2 hours. There is also a... More

This place was terrific. Full of whimsical flying figures in the sky. Their contemporary exhibition space is also excellent and worth a visit.

Beautifully arranged statues around the Milles' home. Se many famous statues. As Gods hand as shown in Hakone open air museum. Also go there and see them - In Japan!!!

Maybe we should have done better research - the sculptures are mostly classical and to my view rather haphazardly placed in the grounds. I was expecting more of the gardens than there actually was.

It was really nice hanging out and relaxing in the sun, admiring the view and architecture. You have to pay but Stockholm is expensive and I think its worth it.

Easier to find than you may fear, use phone and google maps set to train to guide you. A short walk uphill to the garden, then you enter an artist's garden and studio with so many of his bronze sculptures. Great cafe with Swedish food, and fabulous cakes! Worth getting away from the palaces and shopping to see this.

I was here for a private occasion and became totally enchanted with the place. The inside is charming and impressive and the outside brings you away from city life and back to some other time. I was alone outside and I'm sure this added to the atmosphere but this place would be worth a visit even when crowded, along with... More

We took public transportation and found the signage for the buses after getting off the "T" difficult in helping us figure out how to get to the Millesgarden. And the folks at the bus ticket office and the various bus drivers who we asked, (except one) were little help. But once we finally got there, the cafe was lovely overlooking... More

a lovely park on the waterfront, beautiful sculptures, fountains , quiet and romantic, in the midst of a suburban residential area with a nice coffeeshop, restful and pleasant, a real gem.
