Millesgården is a lovely place to spend the afternoon among beautiful statues with a great view of the city as you look out over the water. It's not the easiest to get to on public transit, but it's a great outting once you arrive. Try the restaurant, too!

Museum is in a commanding position just outside of the town, I suggest you to take the tunnelbana to the last stop and walk over the bridge to the museum, takes about half hour to walk, museum and the house reminded me Gaugin museum in Paris, well worth the visit

but no value for the money about the food. The staff have nothing to back up their sofisticated attitude.

A beautiful villa turned museum with strong Roman influences. Beautiful gardens with panoramic views and a cosy artistic inside with many inspiring sculptures. Not accessible by metro but there are frequent buses that make this place very accessible. Exhibition of Pompei was on when we visited which was also interesting.

Situated just opposite the ferries bound for Finland and the Baltic, this museum is consecrated to the famous Swedish sculptor Carl Milles. The easiest way to go there is to go by underground to Ropsten and then take a bus that takes you over the bridge to the first stop. Then, you only have to do a short walk, The... More

I went there on my last day in Stockholm. Its approximately 45 minutes from Central station. Some of the sculptures in the garden look real and the fountains are great. Stockholm card is also valid here.

Stockholm has many museums, the Wasa and the Modern art museum are among the most popular museums. I, however, prefer Millesgården that was founded in the late 1930s. It's hard to compare, but this museum has a special atmosphere that I love. Just to stroll around among all the beautiful statues by Carl Milles is delightful. The museum consists of... More

I had a wonderful visit to this sculpture garden. It was lovely even in November, with arrestingly beautiful art indoors as well as outside. There is also a delicious restaurant on site, so even though it is a bit of a trek outside the center city of Stockholm, there's no need to worry about where you will find something to... More

This is one of the most expensive attractions in Stockholm and there is no reduction for seniors. None of the water features were working when we visited and that detracted from the overall experience a bit. The sculptures were interesting and overall it is a peaceful and relaxing place. It is quite a steep climb up to the main house... More
