Easier to find than you may fear, use phone and google maps set to train to guide you. A short walk uphill to the garden, then you enter an artist's garden and studio with so many of his bronze sculptures. Great cafe with Swedish food, and fabulous cakes! Worth getting away from the palaces and shopping to see this.

I was here for a private occasion and became totally enchanted with the place. The inside is charming and impressive and the outside brings you away from city life and back to some other time. I was alone outside and I'm sure this added to the atmosphere but this place would be worth a visit even when crowded, along with... More

We took public transportation and found the signage for the buses after getting off the "T" difficult in helping us figure out how to get to the Millesgarden. And the folks at the bus ticket office and the various bus drivers who we asked, (except one) were little help. But once we finally got there, the cafe was lovely overlooking... More

a lovely park on the waterfront, beautiful sculptures, fountains , quiet and romantic, in the midst of a suburban residential area with a nice coffeeshop, restful and pleasant, a real gem.

Like you probably will, I took public transport to this museum, which since it is in Lidingo, took rather a long time. Not an auspicious start. The museum has two components, one the sculpture garden, and secondly, the house. These are bad and good respectively, but the good doesn't compensate for the bad. The sculpture "garden" (note those inverted commas)... More

It was the first visit point after arriving to the sea port. You can really enjoy a very nice view from this garden on Baltic see as well on sea port. The skultures are really very unsual))). I felt romantic and calm atmosphere with the taste of see)))

well worth the time to get to the outskirts, the open air sculpture museum is probably the most resplendent and comprehensive of the modern sculptor's works. not to be missed.

Carl Milles was a genius. A sculptor who put his heart, knowledge of mythology, and politics into each of pieces. His work adorns buildings, both in the USA and Europe. Millesgarden is a statue park at his residence, until his death. His estate and the Country of Sweden oversee this national treasure. For a small entrance fee, you can spend... More
