This museum is great - if you like sculptures, and and want a fabulous view of Stockholm. It costs about GBP 15 to get in and for that money you get to see the current exhibition indoors, the park with all of Carl Milles statues, his house with the fantastic studio. However, if you are feeling a bit peckish and... More

All sculptures there are amazing art pieces. The beautiful old house that once served as a residence to Mr. and Mrs. Milles is now used as a museum, and the gardens serve as an open air museum for a hundred of medium to big sculptures. A must see place if you plan a trip to Stockholm.

A really nice place to go around when the sun is shining ! Not so close from the city center, so not the first place to visit if you stay just a week end in Stockholm !

The sculptor's works - stone figures and delicate, ingenious fountains - are meticulously displayed in the terraced garden of his home. The fountains are joyous, some of the sculptures more melancholy, some awe-inspiring - one can sit andcontemplate them, or the views across the water.

A total insight into an artistic family, their work and passions. We went here for lunch (which was great) and then spent half the afternoon walking through the eclectic gardens surrounded by Carl Milles sculptures, water features nd beautiful landscape. There is also a small gallery with changing exhibitions. Easy access on public transport

Stunning combination of cultural history and a sculptor's masterpieces set in the gardens of his own home. A bit of a trek from Stockholm city centre but with stunning views across the harbour.

Millesgården is a must for those interested in both art and the surroundings. Carl Milles was one of the great contemporary artists and his home is now a museum that also have art exhibitions. The exhibitions are not always that interesting, but the garden is very special with a lot of his sculptures. It is situated on the island Lidingö,... More

Spent almost all of our two days in Stockholm in the city center, but ventured out to Millesgarden and were glad we did. Not hard to reach by subway, one-stop bus ride, and then half mile walk. Large number of interesting sculptures by Carl Milles displayed in a garden overlooking the water, plus his interesting collection of art. A fair... More
