A whole ship from the 17th century. Well preserved, you get to see it from different angles and discover everything concerning what was like living on the ship. Cheap entrance (110 SEK - abt 12€) and you get to see everything: from the bones of the sailors, to their stories, features, dresses and even personal belongings. The view of the... More

This is something highly recommended, while in Stockholm. Not a huge marine fan myself, but the ship amazed me. How could something that antient, and thus fragile remain as graceful and massive up to nowadays. Really, .. WOW! More

The Vasa Museum is by far the best visitor attraction in Stockholm. The Vasa ship is very unique and the exhibition is extremely professional. I would recommend visitors to go straight to Skansen Heritage open air museum after their visit to Vasa. It's only two minutes accross the road. More

After a long Scandinavian Vacation and after seeing so many ship museums in Oslo, we were wondering if we should really try this one, But then we decided to give it a shot. Mannnnnnnn....... Its one hell of a ship..... Its massive... that you have to see it to believe it. Had we... More

Superb exhibition of the Vasa. Allow about an hour and a half to get the full benefit of the exhibition. Plenty of models to explain the various parts of the ship. I really liked the model of the Stockholm shipyard and the models of the various stages of the Vase construction. They also have a great guided tour - in... More

Better than I could have expected, the ship is just awe-inspiring and the museum is really interesting. We stayed 2 hours and could have stayed 2 hours more if the museum hadn't closed! More
