Hire a bike to really enjoy the best of these former hunting grounds. There are forests to explore, meadows for picnics and, at Rosendal, you'll find an excellent cafe. More

The Djurgarden was once the hunting garden for the Royals. Later, it was opened to the public as a recreational area. Djurgarden can be easily reached by catching the Tram(no.7 from Nybroplan). The major attractions include the numerous museums(do visit Vasa Museum and Nordic museum). The Skansen open air museum is another must visit spot. Kids will enjoy the Grona... More

Perfect place for a walk, run, pic-nic, culture or fun. Several museums the outdoor museum Skansen, Tivloli several cafees and restaurant. If you are alone, a romantic couple or family does not mattes you will find something to do More

What a lovely walk we had. Springtime and sunny. Djurgården waking up after the winter. Smiling people walking, jogging or just strolling around. A lot of pitstops available. I recommend Djurgårdsbrunns värdshus, nice place for a beer, glas of wine and a catch of breath looking at the canal, trees and all the people. You can go there with bus... More
