The island of Djurgården is a perfect place for a stroll while in Stockholm. Apart from being a very nice and large park area in the centre of Sweden's capital the island also offers several attractions to visit. Here you find several museums worth visiting, such as the Vasa museum, the ABBA museum, Liljevalch's art museum and the Nordic museum.... More

This part of Town is very vast and holds lots of attractions in itself. The Wasa museum amongst others. Stroll around on the shores, and enjoy.

If you like walking you can walk around the island and have lovely views over¨central Stockholm and the waterfront. You can also take shorter walks. get there by tram or by ferryboat. Skansen is situated on the island.

This is a very interesting little area worth visiting at least one full day. You've got the Vasa museum and Skansen Park and zoo which are brilliant for anybody. The Nordic Museum was a bit boring for me but at least the building is impressive, and I didn't bother with Abba museum or Grona Lund Tivoli amusement park. We had... More

Walking, biking or pushing a pram in djurgården is just something that soothes ones mind. Visit this park during any season and enjoy the walk around the sea, boats on the other bank and do not forget to visit cafe Flickorna for the best cakes around plus open-fire place for cosy dates :-)

This is the big green park in Stockholm, lots of nice car-free roads to walk along. Splendid for a jogging tour where you can find lots of paths. Dont bring a car, parking fees are high and the meter-maids are very effecient. Use public transport. Nice to bring your own picnic.

Rent a bike and cycle through woodlands. Go up the tall tower of Kaknästornet for an amazing view. I love Stockholm
