If you want to try out a different activity in Stockholm other than visiting museums, you got to check this one out. There is a video you watch before the ride, which explains all about Skyview that is really nice. The ride takes about 30 mins and you get to see the city from above and there are map-like displays... More

We went there during a sunny day and It was a nice experience climbing up the globe with a very good view on the top,but the stop on the top lasts about 4 or 5 minutes. We found it pretty expensive ( 145 SEK ) given the fact that there a lot of nice spots with great view of the... More

The concept is interesting, but the location to get a panoramic view of the city is just terrible. And for 145 SEK, plus 20 minute metro ride from the train station, I would consider it a total waste of time and money.

We wasted a whole morning on this, we travelled on the underground to Globen and queued for tickets and waited an hour and then went in, watched the video on how it was built and then we were brought out to reception to be told one of the globes got stuck on the way down and they needed the other... It is special, but a little bit expensive. With the Stockholm Card it is recommended, but I would not have done it without. A very nice view over the City and surroundings.

This is a short distance from Stockholm central on the Tbana. Included on the Stockholm card so we thought we'd try it out. There's a 10 minute video and then they let you into a glass bubble (gondola). It travels up the side of the arena and affords a view over Stockholm. It was pretty interesting and we were there... Visited with 19 year old son using Stockholm Card. Worth the trip out to Globen. We were unlucky that it was a slightly misty day but still pleased we made the effort as it was like no other experience we have had.

This attraction gives you a fantastic view over Stockholm. Maybe a bit tricky if you have a fear of heights but nothing too drastic. You feel very safe in the air conditioned and completely locked glass ball. If you visit Stockholm you must visit Globen!
