The brunch on s/s Stockholm is a true classic, served every Saturday and Sunday all year. Our peak season is during spring and summer but it is possible to dine on board all year round. « less

Before writing this I read the other reviews and it still surprises me to read "pricey" and "expensive" what must the owners of this wonderful ship think when they read such rubbish. If you go to Stockholm and think a sea going cruise for Three hours with top quality food including a bottle of wine for a tadge under £100... More

A sophisticated and elegant experience that has to be the best way to dine and see Stockholm & the Archipelago, particularly in the evening. Lovely food (the frozen chocolate mousse cake is to DIE for) and attentive service. With a great atmosphere on board, we found this the highlight of our trip to Stockholm. However it comes at a price,... More

We really enjoyed this smooth journey out to dine and view the many islands in the archipelago. Architecture of the houses really stands out and it gave us a good overview of a way of life we might have never otherwise have seen. This is a big boat and when dining you don't really fell like anyone is intruding on... More

Cruise and dine aboard the Ostana 1, a wonderful end to the day. Boarding late afternoon with gentle cruise though the archipelago with superb commentry to sights passed. Dodging the cruise liners and ferry and islands made for a very enjoyable evening rounding one island to resight one or more of the big boats. Trip not crowded, topped by a... More

We took a tour of the old town Stockholm with Lisa as our guide. he tour was very informative and interesting. She had a lot of information and anecdotes that made the tour a delight. Her English was very good. For 150 krona/person for a 1.5 hour personal tour, I felt it was a great value. I would recommend this... More

We really enjoyed the Sunday Brunch cruise yesterday. It was a splurge for us, but we justified it since it was Mother's Day in our home country. Thanks family! We reserved a table the day before at the booking kiosk near the boat, but you can book online. We asked for a table by a window, and we had a... More

It could be the weather, the ice cold Stockholm winter, presenting itself in the most beautiful way that did it. However, I think the interiors, the welcoming and professional staff and the environment inside the old and well-kept boat did it. We chose a brunch cruise which is offered Saturdays and Sundays. The buffet was fabulous, and afterwords they offered... More

We did the 2.5 hour archipelago cruise with this company. It was a cold, chill day, and they provided much needed blankets so we were able to sit on deck and enjoy the views, which were remarkable. We were astounded to hear the boat we were on, the Ostana, was built in 1906, because it was in such remarkable condition.... More

We weren't on the SS Stockholm, but we were on a smaller steamship that was still very nice. It did have snacks and drinks on board for purchase. We took the 10:30 2.5 hour guided tour of the archipelago and really enjoyed seeing this unique area. The guide offered interesting commentary and the people on board were interesting to talk... Taking about 2.5 hours we enjoyed this cruise around the Stockholm archipelago. The commentary was good - but we had to move near to speakers to hear it. It's a nice ship but if you're travelling at a time when lunch or dinner is being served, there is very little seating that faces outwards for enjoying the view.
