The busses have always been in use for so called Hop-on Hop-off tours where you choose where you like to get on and off to visit the different sights at your own pace. « less

We paid for the Green Bus tour of Stockholm from a Representative on the quay, we waited for one and three quarter hours for a bus that was empty enough for us to board, during this time we tried in vain to get our money back as the Red Tour Buses were arriving with plenty of room. After a while... More

We arrived 3rd July `14. Directed to Alex in side terminal. Told us to speak to his friend who would give us best price but said red buses fewer than their green ones. Chap outside charged us 200 kroners and we waited and waited and waited in line with 100 others from P and O Azura. The chap on duty... More

Oslo is expensive. For the price of two tickets it was cheaper to see the attractions on this bus than taking a cab one way to just Frogner Park! We did not have to worry about connections, walking long distances or timing. There were lots of buses they came quickly, had seats and were organized. Their staff walked upstairs to... More

There are two companies operating hop-on-hop-off buses in Stockholm; this one has both green and red buses labeled CitySights. Generally it was OK, but frequency was an issue. They claim to run buses every 15 minutes but we waited 40 minutes at the Vasa Museum - quite lengthy when you are on a one-day cruise ship visit. By the time... More

After reading lots of poor reviews we decided not to do the Hop On Hop Off Bus in Stockholm but when our plans changed we decided to as other cities buses have been great. Boy are glad we did. The bus departs the first stop every 20 minutes and meanders throughout some great parts of the city. The commentary was... More

Our group did not plan this choice in advance, which was a poor decision. After reading the reviews, I see we are not alone in our poor experience. We are on a Girl Scout trip and were travelling in a group of 12. Because these young girls have earned this trip themselves, every penny matters. After negotiating a group rate... More

We took the bus for the modest price of 380 SEK (40 EUR!) on a rainy day. The bus combined both bus and boat tour which was a bit more consolable. It was raining that day so when we went to the upper floor, the seats were all weat and everyhting was a mess. we would have gone to the... More

Dear Sir/Mdm, I am very sorry you had a bad experience in Stockholm. We do appreciate feedback when something like this occurs. However, it seems that you have been travelling with one of our competitors on this tour. I understand the confusing when there are several red hop on hop on buses to chose from. Strömma's red bus (a part... More

The red hop on hop off bus is very poor value for money. There is no sticking to commencement timetable and at the first stop of the day the bus arrives already full. The advertising is incorrect. The bus creeps through the city and there is little advertisement of an upcoming stop. The hop on hop off boat included in... More

Late busses. Overcrowded and could not see attractions. Audio narration did not work. People standing in aisles. Pickup stops poorly marked. Wasted time sitting waiting to sell tickets. Don’t waste your money. Try one of the other bus tours. You might have a better experience.

Between traffic and long waits between buses, we found it best to take the bus to the furthest point we wanted to go and then walk everywhere else. The audio on the bus was difficult to hear and the traffic (which couldn't be helped by the bus company) was horrific. One positive thing - we were heading back and couldn't... More
