This Museum was difficult for me to find and when I finally found it, it wasn't too interesting. There were some sculptures and paintings but if you've visited bigger and more famous... More

Malmö isn't a very large city so this is perfectly acceptable. It isn't a Smithsonian or New York Museum of Natural history. The kids like it and it tries hard. More

According to the regional Swedish-Danish tourism reporters, this old museum will have new facilities and easier access from the castle's yard. The historical and political importance of Malmöhus Castle cannot be overstated, and you can visit the dungeons as well as the natural historic museum with amazing collections on display. The castle is located right in Malmö city center, only... More

When I was asked to travel to Malmo on business, I did not even know such a place existed on the globe. Is it in Denmark or Sweden ….. that was the question before me. I had never travelled to the Nordics before and hence my ignorance could be excused. I later found out that Malmo is a seaside town... More

Visited the museum in the old fortress castle and found it most interesting but felt frustrated by the lack of multi language labels.Eclectic collection of objects from prehistory till the modern day.Not knowing the the happenings during the world wars or the history of the area would have benefitted from the audio tour I think. The natural history part was well... At the admissions desk it is possible to hire a walkman type device and museum guide in a number of different languages, I noticed English, French, and German, I believe other common European languages are also available. If memory serves me correctly the charge was a modest 50 SEK at the time, I am not sure what it is now... More

Malmo Museer is a collection of museums. All are on the same admission ticket. The main portion is in Malmo castle, once the center of the city's defenses and administration. There are exhibits on the city's history, the building history, the natural history of the area (archealogical finds) plus a Natural History museum (animal displays), an art museum, and an... More
