The neighborhood where the Turning Torso is situated belongs to the sites I show for most visiting friends. The waterfront is really, really nice - starting with a long beach with many kilometres of sand, a century old sea bath, from 1898, with wood stowed saunas and a magnificent view from the sauna over the water - worth a visit...

Two or three times per year they allow the public to go to the top floor. There is a presentation and information about how the building was built and fun facts about the construction. The view is awesome! Our then 6 year old loved the excursion.

Dont miss a visit to this cool building surrounded by new, ecofriendly buildings or buildings to be built. In summer take a stroll along the beachfront, watch all the sunbathers and have an icecream or a coffe. Maybe even take a deap-sea swim along with the locals.

The structure of the building is unique and it's quite a cool place to be in. The view from the high floored apartment was fantastic and you could oversee the Oresund Bridge connecting sweden and denmark.

It's just a high rise with a "twist". Just saw it from a distance. Different

The building is cool looking, I'll admit. But you can see it from almost anywhere in the city if you are at least 3 floors above ground. Actually visiting (which means standing in front of the building) it does not add much. There is an area to swim in the Oresund close to it, but the water is (supposedly) perpetually...
