Step in from a side street and it's like entering a different reality. You go from quiet, simple, and quaint houses to restaurants and women dressed to a T in a flash. A good place to go out or to meet friends. More

This little square is packed with restaurants, and most of the put up tables outside during the summer. You should plan between May and August, and come after 7PM, this is when the place is at its best. Lilla Torg and Möllevångstorget are considered the two most party places of Malmö. Most of the city that is charging for nightclubs... More

A great example of some beautiful old Skåne buildings. The bars and restaurants are very 'tourist' orientated and it gets crazily busy on summer evenings. Have a walk through and grab a beer More

All the architecture is there and the open expanse of walkways with small eat in cafe's all round, a truly delighful square. Especially on a public holiday as were lucky to encounter when many locals were out and about and many day tippers over from Denmark. Not as grand as many Piazza's and Plaza's in Europe, however, a quaint and... More

Loved the range of restaurants and bars. I was there during the summer when the weather was good, everyone was eating outdoors and the atmosphere was great. More

There's no doubt that is currently the hub of Malmo, but as the docks are redeveloped I think it will be less so. It's quite attractive, but so is Stortoget the big square next door. If you really want to see Malmo, walk down to the canal near the station and take the 50 minute Rundan Sightseeing Boat tour round... More
