The restaurant Kaptensgården is great, well worth a visit. But make sure to book in advance since they only open on demand. But don't worry, prices are the same if you are 2 persons! Make sure to visit the exhibition at the Tourist Information, a great start to the tour.

Due to the long distances, the harsh climate of the North and the will of colonisating this part of the country, people began to gather near the church and built there small houses they could... This place is very fascinating, but besides the narrow streets and the atmosphere there is little to see and/or do. However, the place is still worth a visit - take a couple of hours to wander the alleys and enjoy the atmosphere.
