Not only a building with beautiful architecture but also most of the painting on the wall and the ceiling will tell you history of Danmarks. It's recomended to visit this place. It is also free.

Though you may have seen the astronomical clock in Prague, that was looking upwards. In thus place you can see the astronomical clock at eye leveland get mesmerized by it. It has the history of its maker as well. Across the clock hall, there is a souvenir shop with rather good priced items for sale.

It is a very beautiful and interesting building, with great interior. In the outside, there are lots of benches where you can sit and just enjoy the weather and the environment. They have this showroom full of clock and how time works from time to time which was quite interesting. In the middle there was a huge hall where at... More

We had a fun visit to this fun structure. The interior especially is quite smashing. Visiting is free; we did not take the guided tour, which is not free. We also recommend the gardens, which are in the southern part of the city hall complex. Worth a quick trip, and they have free restrooms.

I lovely Town Hall complete with original period features. I'd highly recommend a visit. Entry is free and it is only 5 minutes walk from Central a Station. The Grand Hall is a spectacular architectural feature.

I had the chance to visit the city hall at a reception. What an impressive building on the inside! Art nouveau is stylishly combined with older styles in that kind of down to earth Scandinavian style that is impressive yet fresh. Lots of gold for those liking it more pompous too. If you have the chance, go for it!

a very central place, where the traffic is pumping due to the close amuement park tivoli and due to the main station which is at hands reach. The adhus is a very isteresting and big building where there is always something going on. We went there in August 2014 and there were music contests and the fancy days of copenhagen.... More

Copenhagen City Hall is conveniently located in the Town Square. In and around the centrally appointed building, you'll find many activities and sights. Many tour groups meet just outside the steps of City Hall and to the right of the building sits the picturesque Hans Christian Andersen statue. The main hall is beautifully decorated with Denmark's flags. Sometimes you'll catch... More
