the Citadel is from 1668 and a remarkable part of Copenhagen with its walls and ramparts and old Buildings including a mill and the old prison behind the church. There is a good view of the harbour from the ramparts

This is a lovely little church, located inside the citadel. While the church was not open for visitors while we were there, we did manage to peek into it. All in all, it's a simple church and a lovely building to match.

Beautiful lean architecture. Wonderful surroundings. Peaceful, cool and quiet place to go in the summer when Langelinie is buzzing with tourists climbing onto the little mermaid's lap.

Take a walk from Mærsk Head Office - notice the English Church and Gefion with women and cows sculptured with water. Architecture like they could before with the Kastellet with soldiers in the fantastic red houses. I would love to live there. The Church is active and open. restored and delicate.Must be seen.
