This is a VERY LOVELY small coastal city south of Copenhagen - great beaches as well (Sand is a bit better than the one on Amager beach):) so DO visit :)

Tiny houses, narrow cobbled streets and beautiful baskets of flowers, this little village was once an international marketplace for Hanseatic merchants who came here every year to buy herrings. A Danish pastry in a coffee shop completed the visit!

Dragor is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Copenhagen. The charming village with cobblestone streets, yellow houses and lots of flowers is a perfect place for a relaxing walk. There is a lovely harbor where the fisherman bring their catch and sell right off the pier. We had been to Copenhagen before and were looking for something... More

This is a typical but tranquil fishing village situated south of Copenhagen airport with a full view over the bridge Copenhagen - Mamo. Besides the ferry port and fishing boats area there also is a sport yachting harbour. Nicely situated for sailing journeys over the Ost Sea.

A delightful village that gives a good example of what life was like for Danish fishermen in the past. Quaint little cottages all painted the same sandy colour with little alleyways between them. Look out for the mirrors on the window put there so that the women could see what was going on while weaving and sewing all day. note... More

For those seeking a relaxing half-day trip from the bustle of downtown CPH, take a train or bus to Dragoer & wander the waterfront, the "goose village", & browse the shops. There didn't appear to be many tourists the day we were there, so we felt a bit like one does in some of the small villages in the South... More

Walking through the streets of Dragor and enjoying the architecture of the old houses was one of the highlights of the trip. Try and say hello to people and chances are they will strike up a conversation. Very well preserved piece of History
