Owner description: For once, it's the tourists who get it right – locals almost never experience Copenhagen in this way, and they're missing out on a treat, experiencing the old city centre from a different perspective and seeing almost all the downtown attractions from the water. Canal Tours Copenhagen offer four different tours of the city, ranging from 60-75 minutes in duration, both with or without a guide. They leave from Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, with longer ones taking you as far as the Little Mermaid and out into the Oeresund Channel to the tiny fortress island of Trekroner. On Sunday and Thursday evenings during summer months there's even a 90-minute jazz cruise, with live music aboard the boat.Armed with a strong fleet of 16 comfortable boats, six of which are heated and covered, the Canal Tours takes you through a guided journey along the city s harbor and canal. At least one of the multilingual staff members is always onboard, enlightening guests on the picturesque surroundings. Choose from the various tours available. And for something unusual, go for the Dinner Cruise, where you can enjoy a delectable meal as you cruise along the waters. And if you have charted your own itinerary, then just go ahead and rent one of our boats.

Copenhagen Canal Tour is a nice way to view the city from a different angle. You also get an overall impression of Copenhagen. The tour takes around one hour. There are several stops along the route where you can hop off. The audio guide is in several languages and very informative. I took the ride in November, and cold weather... More

My brother and I started the tour at Nyhavn. It was in December so it was absolutely freezing but the boat was heated and great. They took us all around. Really enjoyable. Tour guide was great, he could speak multiple languages and was entertaining. Would recommend especially to anyone who doesn't want to / doesn't have time to walk around.

the trip takes an hour and ten minutes and is a great way to see the city and islands by boat . You get a free set of headphones to plug in at your seat , in around ten languages, but the GPS position of the boat picks up which location to talk about. we had several commentaries twice over... The Copenhagen canal tour is a great way to see the city. The boat has both indoor, heated seating space (great for those travelling in Winter) and outdoor spaces which allow a clearer view of Copenhagen. The audio guide is a nice addition, and helps you learn more about the city's history. This tour is a good option for those... More

The canal tour is worth taking. It's like a cheat sheet of the capital's attractions in minutes. Unfortunately we went on a day that was horrendously windy, cold and eventually rainy. It was our guide's 1st day on the job but she did an amazing job, the conditions notwithstanding. The tour takes you to sites like The Little Mermaid, The... More

The canal tour worth going. It is nice to get a overview and then deciding which places worth a visit. If you are planning to know the city by this way, then that is a bad ideia. Copenhagen is a city to walk/bike. Doing the canal tour and going to the nice places seen during the tour is a better... More

We took the canal tour, to have view at copenhagen from the water. The audio guided tour was nice, we had some info en at least it eas warm inside (januari). The only thing I really bothered, was that the windows of the boat were really stained. And come on, you want to have a nice clear view!

Dear Danny R, Thank you for the kind words regarding our tour and audio guiding. For environmentally reasons we only wash the windows on the boats once a day, but as you rightly point out January weather in Copenhagen can be a challenge and the salty water can stain the windows. We hope to see you again on a sunny... More

We sailed along the many canals of Copenhagen towards the cruise terminal, past the mermaid on a rock, and back into the city. We had a fabulour tour guide who spoke 3-4 different languages. The tour was about an hour, and well worth it. It is a part of the Go Copenhagen card.

We recently did a canal tour of Copenhagen. It was freezing cold but we decided to sit outside to get the best view. The tour was really interesting and seeing the city from the canals offered a different perspective. I would highly recommend the tour!

A great little introduction to Copenhagen, a city whose canals are its arteries. Really good value for money and the audio guide is very informative and multilingual. We went past all the main sites in the city and got a good view of it all. To top it off, the boat crew were cheerful, good humoured and knowledgeable. One slight... More
