Owner description: For once, it's the tourists who get it right – locals almost never experience Copenhagen in this way, and they're missing out on a treat, experiencing the old city centre from a different perspective and seeing almost all the downtown attractions from the water. Canal Tours Copenhagen offer four different tours of the city, ranging from 60-75 minutes in duration, both with or without a guide. They leave from Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, with longer ones taking you as far as the Little Mermaid and out into the Oeresund Channel to the tiny fortress island of Trekroner. On Sunday and Thursday evenings during summer months there's even a 90-minute jazz cruise, with live music aboard the boat.Armed with a strong fleet of 16 comfortable boats, six of which are heated and covered, the Canal Tours takes you through a guided journey along the city s harbor and canal. At least one of the multilingual staff members is always onboard, enlightening guests on the picturesque surroundings. Choose from the various tours available. And for something unusual, go for the Dinner Cruise, where you can enjoy a delectable meal as you cruise along the waters. And if you have charted your own itinerary, then just go ahead and rent one of our boats.

This was an awesome experience, a little cold making my face numb, but it was an awesome experience and you get to see all of the city and the key points with a nice tour. I suggest this for all!

Good way to see the sights of Copenhagen, including photogenic Nyhavn and the famous Little Mermaid. Informative audio guide in different languages on headsets, but you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the passing urban and maritime scenery.

We wanted a good overall tour of Copenhagen while we determined what we wanted to visit and see. We purchased the Copenhagen card which got us into just about everything we wanted to see, and it included the canal tour. We were so glad we took the canal tour first thing. We were on one of the first tours of... More

Nice and quick way to visit the major attractions of the city if you don't have much time in hand. Tour starts from different locations and you can hop-on hop off at your desired locations.

Our large flat boat reversed into position and we all hopped on board. It was a cold but clear winters morning but inside the boat was warm and dry. We started off with an individual headset which could be altered to various languages. Our tour was free with the Copenhagen Card but others had a 'Hop On Hop off' ticket.... More

Having thoroughly enjoyed the Free Walking Tours, we came to the conclusion that walking is by far the best way of seeing Copenhagen.

The canal tour was a great way to see a lot of Copenhagen. We used the Copenhagen card, which included this attraction. Unfortunately we were there in October and the ride was a little chilly. As long as you bundle up, I would definitely recommend this!

A lovely way to see Copenhagen from the water especially if the weather is good, and there is guided tour in all the major languages. You can bring drinks and your own food, you'll pass some of the major sites, and the tour takes a couple of hours. One of the starting points is Nyhavn with also is very nice.

Really good use of an hour in Nyhaven, Copenhagen. Great to see a bit of history, architecture and a view of the city that doesn't involve shopping! The tour guide was really pleasant and knowledgeable and it offers a good way to see the Little Mermaid too! Highly recommended but if you do it in cold months, take a hot... More

We only had a day in Copenhagen, as it was a stop on the cruise. So we wanted to cover as much as we could, and this was a great way to do it. We are lucky to have good weather and it made the experience unforgettable. As we sailed down the canals taking in the atmosphere, architecture and people... More
