Canal Tours Copenhagen offer four different tours of the city, ranging from 60-75 minutes in duration, both with or without a guide. They leave from Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, with longer ones taking you as far as the Little Mermaid and out into the Oeresund Channel to the tiny fortress island of Trekroner. On Sunday and Thursday evenings during summer months there's even a 90-minute jazz cruise, with live music aboard the boat.Armed with a strong fleet of 16 comfortable boats, six of which are heated and covered, the Canal Tours takes you through a guided journey along the city s harbor and canal. At least one of the multilingual staff members is always onboard, enlightening guests on the picturesque surroundings. Choose from the various tours available. And for something unusual, go for the Dinner Cruise, where you can enjoy a delectable meal as you cruise along the waters. And if you have charted your own itinerary, then just go ahead and rent one of our boats. « less

Copenhagen is so beautiful and it is amazing when you see it from the sea! The tour lasts for 30 min and it was a bit cold in the October so bring your jacket if you're taking the tour at that time of the year.

We started in Nuhavn, a good reason to visit the place and then from the boat we have seen some places which I would not bother to go to see by foot but still worth seeing- Black Diamond, for ex. The audio was OK, and when the rain started we were given plastic ponchos by the guide. It was also... More

We enjoyed our canal tour which lasted longer than we had initially expected. Great sightseeing and picture opportunity. Low bridges were fascinating--great driving skills for tour boat operator was definitely required! Narrator onboard described local landmarks but her English was not ideal; was far more comfortable with Danish-speak, so we often got a sense of what buildings were long after... More

Giving this two stars rather than one, as it was not very expensive. The tour started extremely late, taking a much larger chunk out of our day than it warranted. The route did nothing to help us orientate ourselves (which was one of the main reasons for taking the trip). The commentary was shallow and restricted to pointing out landmarks... More

The Canal tour boat ride was very interesting. It seems to be more than a canal tour moving a little out into the sea. It was very relaxing.

Though Copenhagen does not boast of a large canal network, like Stockholm the trip was quite interesting taking us through some of the ancient buildings and the notorious Nyhaven area besides closer to the little mermaid. Free with Copenhagen card and hence worth one trip.

This tour was very interesting and well worth the reasonable price. The tour guide did a great job explaining all the sights in multiple languages, with a few laughs thrown in. The tour goes by several tourist attractions and on the day we took the tour we actually got to see the queen out on her yacht. The only drawback... More

No little earphones for this tour. Excellent guide who narrated well in English, Norwegian and Spanish for us. Goes to the Little Mermaid and other places of interest, and offers many more picture taking opportunities than the hop-on-hop-off bus.

We enjoyed this one hour of history and beautiful architecture all along the canal, from the colorful buildings to the pointed bell tower of the churches, to the little mermaid who lost her head twice and made a trip to China. All was good under a beautiful sun with the help of the lady guide.

The guides, the architecture, the history, the city. One neat affordable package to see the Danish capital. Did it twice in 48 hours and still couldn't get enough. On my to do AGAIN list when am in the beautiful city.
