Canal Tours Copenhagen offer four different tours of the city, ranging from 60-75 minutes in duration, both with or without a guide. They leave from Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, with longer ones taking you as far as the Little Mermaid and out into the Oeresund Channel to the tiny fortress island of Trekroner. On Sunday and Thursday evenings during summer months there's even a 90-minute jazz cruise, with live music aboard the boat.Armed with a strong fleet of 16 comfortable boats, six of which are heated and covered, the Canal Tours takes you through a guided journey along the city s harbor and canal. At least one of the multilingual staff members is always onboard, enlightening guests on the picturesque surroundings. Choose from the various tours available. And for something unusual, go for the Dinner Cruise, where you can enjoy a delectable meal as you cruise along the waters. And if you have charted your own itinerary, then just go ahead and rent one of our boats. « less

This is a very tourist-way to experience Copenhagen. But it was surprisingly good. I enjoyed the scenery, what we got to see and the description, although the guide seemed a bit tired of saying the same things over and over. It was well worth the money if you want to see a lot of Copenhagen at a low cost!

An hour's tour on a large boat taking in all the sights, the mermaid, opera house, churches, palaces, houses, etc.. Good live commentary in English.

There were two tour companies literally 20 meters apart. One was 75, the other was 40. I asked the first 75 company what was the difference. Her explanation was we are different companies. Nothing else. We took the 40. 70 minute guided canal tour in both Danish and English. Our guide spoke excellent English. Went around a lot of sights... More

We bumped into this tour operator by sheer chance, and we are so glad we went on this on, and not another tour operator, the staff, were all happy, joking with us, and giving a good insight to all the "must see" sights of Copenhagen, if you are on a whistle stop tour of the City then this is a... In an expensive city sightseeing can add up. We had the Copenhagen card so this was included, but had we not, I would have paid for this. The tour is quite long and extensive and very informative. They take you to all the sights so its a good thing to do first to get your directional bearings. Really nice!

Copenhagen is so beautiful and it is amazing when you see it from the sea! The tour lasts for 30 min and it was a bit cold in the October so bring your jacket if you're taking the tour at that time of the year.

We started in Nuhavn, a good reason to visit the place and then from the boat we have seen some places which I would not bother to go to see by foot but still worth seeing- Black Diamond, for ex. The audio was OK, and when the rain started we were given plastic ponchos by the guide. It was also... More

We enjoyed our canal tour which lasted longer than we had initially expected. Great sightseeing and picture opportunity. Low bridges were fascinating--great driving skills for tour boat operator was definitely required! Narrator onboard described local landmarks but her English was not ideal; was far more comfortable with Danish-speak, so we often got a sense of what buildings were long after... More

Giving this two stars rather than one, as it was not very expensive. The tour started extremely late, taking a much larger chunk out of our day than it warranted. The route did nothing to help us orientate ourselves (which was one of the main reasons for taking the trip). The commentary was shallow and restricted to pointing out landmarks... More

Newly arrived in Copenhagen during our short city break, we decided to head straight for the delights of Nyhavn and hop on a canal boat for one of their famous tours. There are a couple of choices when deciding which company to go for, and it's certainly worth checking the prices of each; because you can make a bit of... More
