Canal Tours Copenhagen offer four different tours of the city, ranging from 60-75 minutes in duration, both with or without a guide. They leave from Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, with longer ones taking you as far as the Little Mermaid and out into the Oeresund Channel to the tiny fortress island of Trekroner. On Sunday and Thursday evenings during summer months there's even a 90-minute jazz cruise, with live music aboard the boat.Armed with a strong fleet of 16 comfortable boats, six of which are heated and covered, the Canal Tours takes you through a guided journey along the city s harbor and canal. At least one of the multilingual staff members is always onboard, enlightening guests on the picturesque surroundings. Choose from the various tours available. And for something unusual, go for the Dinner Cruise, where you can enjoy a delectable meal as you cruise along the waters. And if you have charted your own itinerary, then just go ahead and rent one of our boats. « less

We took a combi tour, first a buss and walking tour in the city of Copenhagen and then a canal tour. The buss part was great with e-guide in different languages. It was quite nice seeing the city from the water side as well. The weather was nice and it looked like Copenhagen uses the canals for old fashioned "Sunday... More

It was a great way to see the city. Our tour guide, Nassim, was wonderful and spoke 4 languages perfectly. Worth doing.

We took the "Grand Tour" from the Gammel Strand location and would recommend this location. We walked by the Nyhavn location the next day and there were many more people! Being on the water gives a unique perspective on many of the famous sites and the guide gave a brief description on what we were seeing. We really enjoyed the... More

It was my first time in Copenhagen and since there was shortage of time, I was advised to go for canal tour. In terms of ROI (return on investment), it is great. You get to choose different types of canal tours (hop-on hop-off canal tour, hop-on hop-off canal cum bus tour, one hour canal tour etc.) with most people boarding... More

We had visited Copenhagen before. We enjoyed seeing new areas and the good commentary in English. It was a relaxing ride we boarded on Nyhaven.

We spent a day on the Hop on Hop off boats in Copenhagen. The boats are limited to the river. Commentary is through head sets in a variety of languages, with complimentary ear phones just slightly too short to be comfortable. You get to see the Little Mermaid, the Trekroner fortress, the palace, Nyhavn, and down to the Copenhagen Island... More

Reasonably priced and informative, it made for a nice overview of the city in just about an hour with several photo opps.

We went on this tour as it was free with the Copenhagen card (not from Nyhaven though, beware), it was billed as the best way to "orientate" yourself in the city, that is not the case. I would advise going up the highest tower in Copenhagen and taking stock, this trip confuses you further! The guide was boring, the sites... More

After completing our walking tour of Copenhagen, we boarded a canal boat at (I believe) Gammel Strand. This was indeed a nice leisurely cruise through the canals of Christianshavn. We saw old picturesque buildings from the canal level while relaxing in the boat. If you visit Copenhagen, please consider taking this water cruise through the canals because it gives you... More
