Tried the sausage bun and glogg. Yummy! Warm you up perfectly for the weather. They sell assorted nuts, ham, nougats and chocolate. Try to visit the outer circle of the market, prices tend to be lower, e.g. the assorted snacks and nuts.

You'll see it at some point walking around to different attractions. Copenhagen is a small city relatively in size so you'll likely walk right by everything if you pay attention take a look and a pic. Take a pic and move on.

If you don't do anything else just watch the people who are passing by, it is already good. All kind of locals are running, or walking around, you can have a little look into the daily life.

A nice area of Copenhagen, plenty of great shops. Illums department store is worth visiting. It has free Jazz concerts on the square in Jazz week in July most years. I went saw part of a concert on Sunday. Worth visiting this area, it is part of the long shopping street.

This a nice plaza...we were fortunate to visit on a day when there was a choir performing...it really added to the atmosphere...it's not in the worlds top ten plazas....it probably not in the top 100 but on the day we were there it was lovely

Basically a small square with some wooden stalls selling what can best be described as Sunday market goods. A few stalls selling food and hot drinks.....aside from that it was possible to walk around in under 10 minutes. The stall selling chocolate tools, guns and other oddities was very helpful if you call a complete reluctance to offer tasting, touch... More

This is the heart of Copenhagen, and a nice spot to start from for other places, or just stand and look at people buzzing by on bikes and walking! I spent a bit of time here taking some street photos, as all characters passes by here :)

I really like standing in the middle of Højbro Plads/Amager Torv and looking at my city. From here is a straight view to the Parliaments (Christiansborg). One direction of Strøget leads you to Kongens Nytorv while the other direction leads to the City Hall Square. On a warm sunny spring/summer/autumn day this place is awesome! Notice all the details on... More

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front.
