Pretty dated stadium

Sadly Parken looks very dated... I was suprised how ugly and badly planned the stadium is... also the atmosphere during matches isn't that great.

FC Copenhagen had a match while we were visiting, so we went-this is a great experience for any soccer fan! We took the bus from our hotel and it dropped us off right in front of the stadium, so pubic transport is really easy and convenient. If you buy tickets the day of like we did, there is a white... Nice Football stadium in Copenhagen! Also good place for outdoor concerts! Especially with Bruce Springsteen! :-)

During my visit to Copenhagen went to a soccer game here and the Ambience was pretty lively, especially on the benches from the right side of the main seating. Lots of cool chantings and it was a good game. Locals are really friendly and small snack stands in near the stairs. I made it a bit late into the game,... More

Friendly stadium, played against Newtown FC from Mid Wales, UK, only 20 of us there, but the crowd were great, on the downside they beat us. Huge but friendly as all of Denmark was. Lovely country to visit

Visited last year for FC Copenhagen vs HJK Helsinki. The beer was ****t but you could drink it at the stadium, which you cannot do in Finland anywhere. Modern stadium with good facilities.

Have been watching few games (football) at this stadium; the Danish national team and twice FC Copenhagen. The stadium is quite small comparing to other stadiums in Europe (capacity of around 38000) but worth a visit if someone is interested in football and is visiting Copenhagen.

This was only the second time I went to the Danish national stadium . And this time I look my young son(11) , and it was perfect. Apart from the fact you can smoke in the stands which isn't ideal, you can get there and away easily. Fair enough it was an FCK match mid week, but I hear it... More

I caught the 14 bus from near central station to Parken stadium with my wife. Buy a card of ten bus tickets and pop it once for each person in the machine at the front of the bus. FC Copenhagen were playing Aarhus. The stadium is interesting and very cheap compared to England-£11 plus a free programme. The staff are... More

Went for a concert - sound was good, but the organisation of the concert was horrendous - especially getting out from there, had there been a fire we'd have been toast! No public transport available at midninghyt when concert was finished - meaing 50000 people have to walk back to town. Avoid this as a concert venue.

Staying in Outer Oesterbro

Neighborhood Profile
Outer Oesterbro
Fælledparken continues into Outer Oesterbro, where Parken (Denmark's national soccer stadium) is located. In the middle of Outer Oesterbro you’ll find Østre Gasværk, which is a popular theatre located in an old (brick-wall) gas cylinder. Travel to the easternmost part of Outer Oesterbro to reach Nordhavn, a harbour area where most of the development is over water, showcasing Copenhagen's constant development. Nordhavn is home to the UN City and to pricey penthouse apartments which, on a clear day, can see all the way to Sweden.
