Cozy spot

This library is so cozy and inviting. Sometimes it felt like a book store in that it was so modern and clean. The cafe downstairs is a great place to hangout as well.

The new library looked a plain simple building from the outside, even though it was big. The terrace outside was ideal for refreshments and watching the boats go by, but inside the grandeur of a stylish modern functional building is worth a look. Escalators in a cavernous central section surrounded by walkways and glass study areas, take you from the... More

While it is a delightful place to sit outside and watch people and the water, but you must go into the rare book room and see a very surprising excellent display of rare books

Wonderful place to sit outside on the comfortable lounge chairs and watch the boats sail by. Worth a visit!

Nice food, free water, air conditioned, excellent toilets and outside loungers for those who want to sit beside the canal and enjoy the sun. No dislikes!

Saw this austere but handsome looking building whilst crossing one of the many bridges in Copenhagen and decided to explore. Clad in black marble and glass and known as the Black Diamond, which was an addition more than a decade ago to the original Royal Library and certainly adds it's presence to the skyline and harbour. Love the way the... More

I went here to do some research for work and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The space is lovely too. Full of light and airy. It is a cool quiet oasis and has lots of seats outside and in. There is a bar right next door too, which adds to the cool and relaxed vibe.

One of many great libraries in Copenhagen with friendly staff and great design! Definitely worth checking out on a rainy day.

We want to thank the nice staff person who helped us print our boarding passes for our flight home to the US. We were staying in an apartment and had no access to a printer and we didn't want to do it at the airport so we figured the library would be a good place to start. Indeed it was... More
