Nice food, free water, air conditioned, excellent toilets and outside loungers for those who want to sit beside the canal and enjoy the sun. No dislikes!

Saw this austere but handsome looking building whilst crossing one of the many bridges in Copenhagen and decided to explore. Clad in black marble and glass and known as the Black Diamond, which was an addition more than a decade ago to the original Royal Library and certainly adds it's presence to the skyline and harbour. Love the way the... More

I went here to do some research for work and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The space is lovely too. Full of light and airy. It is a cool quiet oasis and has lots of seats outside and in. There is a bar right next door too, which adds to the cool and relaxed vibe.

One of many great libraries in Copenhagen with friendly staff and great design! Definitely worth checking out on a rainy day.

We want to thank the nice staff person who helped us print our boarding passes for our flight home to the US. We were staying in an apartment and had no access to a printer and we didn't want to do it at the airport so we figured the library would be a good place to start. Indeed it was... More

we wnet there for a concert and it was an amzing experience. The framework is superb. Also the collection of rare and very early handwritten documents is something special that deserves a look. In general the building and the environment is an excellent experience

I have been visiting this library quite often - both to study or just spend a moment to wonder around and check out some books or magazines. For visitors who need to check internet there is option to borrow pc for 20 mins free of charge

Not sure if this is the "Black Diamond" library listing, meaning the architecturally notable library building on the waterfront. But do visit this masterpiece of modern public design. No tour necessary. Just walk around and see the gorgeous and unique interiors and design elements.

Rather formal athmosphere, and not completely satisfying book collection, you will still be able to find some goodies for loan for 2-4 weeks for free. At certain occations, special arrangements are made, such as Frank Zappa evenings.
