We walked over the bridge here and it certainly didn't disappoint. Loved the pastel buildings on the canal and there are lots of shops and cafes. We did wander into the Free Zone which is interesting to see but certainly not our scene (and I wouldn't be comfortable going there at night). The Free Zone is one of those experiences... More

Sit down for a pint of bear and a snack. Most places are not the best dinner places but they have average food.

The boat tour is fun and a great way to see Christianshavn. Lovely buildings, boats and a fun activity.

We chose to stay in Christianshavn because of the availability of public transportation and the local color. This is a working class to upscale neighborhood with a nice mix of residences and shops. The canals are close by for nice walks. It's close to the city center and other tourist centers. Pricey perhaps but of reasonable quality.

It's my favourite area in Copenaghen, full of nice views and buildings, such as the huge Opera House. I like walking or cycling next to the channels, where sometimes you can see people swimming or canoeing, or even only resting on the boats. There are a lot of cafes and places where to eat or just have a drink. Really... More

Copenhagen is a harbour town. What better way to get oriented than on a bout tour that brings you through the canals and harbour situating yourself amount the many important and famous bits of the city that you will want to explore later in detail.

On a sunny summer day Christianshavn was just the place to wander and enjoy. Feeling that we were far from the city we walked the area visiting an architecture school, we admired the many and varied homes and offices, had a good meal and walked Christiana. yes, that place is different and weird . but a nice change, interesting people... This is a very attractive residential area, with many nice buildings lining its canals. A couple of major points of interest are within its boundaries - definitely worth the time on the itinerary.

In the short visit we had in Copenhagen this area looks like to be one of the nicest. Nice places to sighseen. Nice small commercial restaurant. Don't miss it.
