Running Copenhagen offers running sightseeing in Copenhagen with a local guide. We believe in giving our guests a personal experience, so do not expect a monologue from us about Copenhagen. Instead expect to be chatting most of the way with your guide about life in Copenhagen, politics, restaurants, biking culture, things to do etc. We will of course not let you down in terms of telling you about Copenhagen, so expect to hear lots about the city's history and culture, and don't hold back on any questions you may have. We are here to serve...and have fun.

Happy Running,

Lena

Hi Isobel and Richard. It was your anniversary ?!? Had I known, I would have treated you to some additional kilometers ;-) It was a pleasure showing you Copenhagen and though it was just below freezing, you were treated to one of the most beautiful sides of our small capital - a snow covered Copenhagen. I hope you had a... More

Love this concept of sightseeing and running at the same time - and with great company too! It was my first visit to Copenhagen and as I was there for a conference with very little time to see the city, I came across Running Copenhagen while google searching running routes. It was only 2 days before my trip so with... More

Hi Kriztina, The pleasure was all mine and it was great to hear about your life in London and to get a bit nerdy about food and running as well. If wine had been on our topic list as well we would have covered my three favourite things :-) It is great to receive a review like this considering it... More

This was the best way to explore early morning Copenhagen for us. Lena was amazing and so knowledgeable, we learnt so much in the hour we were together. The pace of the run is adjusted according to the runners so nothing feels too hard or too slow. We were in the middle of a storm so did not see the... More

Dear Rosario and James, The run was all my pleasure and you two were great in beating the storm and fantastic company. I am glad you could use my recommendations and that you had a good time in our small capital. Needless to say, I was very keen to meet James who had booked the tour more than 6 months... More

I am not a runner, but this was superfun! A different way of seeing Copenhagen in the fresh morning air, and such a great way of going sightseeing. Lena was so nice and taught me so many interesting things about this beautiful city as we ran, and I was superhappy and so full of information and energy after 1,5 hours.... More

Wauw - you went running again while in town ? That is fantastic. For someone who starts a tour with "I never run" I think that is quite an accomplishment :-) It was a very big pleasure to show you Copenhagen and I hope you and your husband had a great weekend in Copenhagen. Next time he is at DTU,... More

A lovely concept combining a run with a sightseeing tour. I learned something new about Copenhagen a city I often visit and run in. Never this way before however. Lena is a great host and very enjoyable to be with. Good luck to you for the future! Georg

Hi Georg, That is probably the most "last minute" booking we have ever had. Thankfully it all worked out and I am glad you enjoyed your run. I still smile at the thought of our discussions about food, agriculture, parenting and business in general. I hope you had a pleasant birthday party in the evening and I wish you and... More

Combining running with a tour of the city is a perfect way to see the sites. Lena was a pleasure to run with and very informative. Great to get the chance to talk with a local person and learn about Copenhagen.

Hi Alison, Thanks for a great review and also thank you for your flexibility in finding a time for our run. It was a great pleasure to show you Copenhagen and get 1½ hrs of alone time, with someone who is a bit of a celebrity (though you did not want to use that word :-)), within lung research. It... 3 guys, 1 who runs a lot and 2 that don't visiting Copenhagen on a get together. Dear Dom, Anthony and Alex, HA! :-). That was one very enjoyable and fun tour. My experience with Running Copenhagen was fantastic! I chose to do the private sunrise run, which was great. The weather was crisp, but much better than I had expected for October and perfect for a run. So I was planning to do a long run on my weekend in Copenhagen, and then stumbled across a link to Running Copenhagen.
