Good Collection

A collection of local Nordic snappers is quite good. They also had an international collection - though I am unsure if that was on loan or permanent. Very good to spend an hour in.

Worth an hour to see any exhibition that sounds at all interesting. They host exhibits from abroad as well as putting together excelent shows, building to some degree on their own growing collection. I may be biased in favor of photography, but I think it the best little art museun on the island of Funen

A regular program of exhibitions brings the best in Nordic photography into a dialogue with photography from around the world. I have seen excellent work there by African, Japanese, Brazilian, and US photographers. They also have a good and growing permanent collection, much of which cannot be displayed due to space limitations. If you happen to be a photographic researcher,... More

Photo part is great, great photographs that demonstrated the futility of war. The visual art displays may appeal to some people. The social statement on media boders on acceptance of piracy and theft of intellectual property. However, the historical portion of the exhibit warrants a visit.

Museum of Photographic art is definatly on my top 3 list of things to see in Odense, and I recommend it all my visitors. The exebitions change during the year, but more often than not they have a really high quality, and never stops amazing me.
