Pick up the new mountain road at Karia and motor alone along the top of the island, stopping to see the goats and the view of Skiathos before heading for Glossa and then taking the turning right just after the turning for the Mama Mia church before you enter Glossa. Stop at the deserted monastry of Taxi something and look... More

Not too hard to reach, although you do need to have a car or motorbike. Quite, with few umbrellas and sunbeds to be rented at a moderate price (€6). Spectacular landscape and cristal clear water. My favorite beach in Skopelos, where all beaches are A+

This beach is in the north of the island and is only accessible by car. Just keep following the signs, even when you think you must have gone too far by now! There is a car park at the top of the cliff with plenty of spaces and then quite a step walk down to the stone and shingle beach.... More

This was our actual favourite beach as recommended by a local! North of the island a long winding road led to a car park at the top of a cliff. Access to the beach was down steps and which opened out to a couple of bays. Great for swimming and snorkeling, amazing views and sparkling blue sea! But, you need... More

Very quiet beach therefore no facilities. Beautiful clear waters and some shade in the afternoons. Shingle and stones but good for a bit of snorkelling.

Secluded stoney beach, really beautiful on a calm day. Not quiet safe enough to swim on a rougher day, strong under current. Breath taking views whatever the weather.

Ive been to a couple of black sand beaches in hawaii and since santorini is not a "beach" destinatio, I can say that this is probably one of the best beaches they have. Its long and has space to lay around in without someone else tanning so close from you. I love privacy and since Im from the states, am... More

The road here is not for the faint hearted and as it was September I was hoping for exclusive use however there were several people here despite the remoteness. There were a few umbrella and beds but the stones were lovely and warm the sea blue and beautiful and all over we spent a very happy few hours here.

Hidden away at the North of the island, this lovely, quiet, stony beach was a real find. No taverna or kantina, just a few sunbeds and umbrellas.

If you want a no-frills (or organized tourist set up) this is the place for you. The drive there (you need a car) is awe-inspiring and the place an excellent stop for a long stay (bring a pic-nic and enjoy it for a full afternoon). It's hard to get to, and offers to amenities, so it is excellent for self-sufficient... More
