We walked up from koukounaries which took 25mins on a dirt track but it's a pleasant walk through the fresh an cooling air of the pine trees. We have found with the beaches on the north of the island to all have a better breeze to keep you cool on the warmer days. The water is lovely an clear an... More

A wide sweeping beach with lovely soft sand and great for swimming. The approach is via a 20 minute walk from bus stop 23 I think, through a ferny forest, which is delightful and gives a bit of shade. The beach bar does hand cut chips in herbs to die for and an excellent souvlaki. Don't go to Skiathos without... More

Great Beach and worth the walk through the pine trees to get there. There is a lovely taverna which serves great fresh fish and hand made chips plus nice wine and beer.

Some of the nicest sand on the island, in fact all the beaches on the west side have fine beach sand. As the title says great for sunsets, even although the are over the mainland and not into the sea

Elias beach is next to Mandraki beach. It is really nice and quiet it has loungers and umbrellas, there is a cafe and toilets of a sort!!! But if you don't like the hustle and bustle of KookOonares try this beach.

The beach itself is pretty nice, but if we hadnt hired a car (and therefore been able to bring food and other supplies) we would've been disappointed because the facilities were extremely poor - almost non-existent. There are far better beaches on the island.

May not be many facilities, although there is a taverna with drinks and hot food. Quieter sandy beach. Loads of fish and saw octopus while snorkelling. We also walked from main road, very pretty walk through the forest.

We walked here after spending the day on the smaller Mandraki beach. I'd say it is around 30 minutes walk from bus stop 23 along sand and dirt tracks. The walk is fairly hilly but nothing too strenuous. The bay is beautiful and the sand is soft. We had a drink in the taverna that overlooks the beach and this... More

A beautiful unspoilt beach, a fair walk from the main road unless you have transport through a lovely fragrant forest. About 20 minutes walk. After walking down boards you reach the taverna where you can buy an assortment of foods and drinks from Elias & co The taverna is roughly central on the beach. Sun beds and brollies can be... More
