This is a really good beach, very long and almost empty when we visited. Perfect sand although the open and quickly deep water throws up quite a swathe of seaweed. But please do not let that put you off. A visit is totally recommended by any beachlover.

Mandraki, was I think our favourite beach. Lovely walk to get there with not many obstacles and quite straightforward. The water was clear, warm and easy to get into - no stones. The tavern was superb especially the oregano potatoes. Very friendly. The WC leaves a lot to be desired but hey this is a beach. Was clean but basically... More

Can be quiet at times and need a car to get there, although you can walk through pine forest. Sea clear and safe. Best chips on island from family run taverner

The location is fabulous. You get to walk through the forest for 25' only to get to a fab spot with a terribly kept beach and a poorly managed food shack.

What a nice beach. Not many tourists. and the bay is open and wide so if you get there for about 9am in September and you go for a swim...then you are one of 3 in the water...totally relaxing we will be coming here again!

Park in the woods and walk the short way to the beach. There is a Taverna serving nice fresh fish and salads and you sit overlooking the sea. Sunbeds are available and snorkelling good on the left (west) side.

We have been visiting Skiathos since 2006 but only just visited this beach and so glad we did. This is by far our favourite beach and will definitely be going on our next visit. The only downfall is the roads to it as they are very very bumpy and although cars do go would recommend a 4x4. The views when... More

This is one of the best beaches in Skiathos especially for people who are looking for remote and virgin beach.

I have travelled the world on holiday and this is by far my most favourite beach Clear sea, nice and shallow, sandy beach and most amazing basic taverna doing excellent Greek food Toilets are a positively amazing experience but clean, if you've been you know what I mean :) Venture to the right hand side if you want a different... Skiathos is an island of many sandy beaches all around its coastline. The water in the southern ones is usually calm, while the northern ones are really wavy. When the wind is blowing from the South, seek for these 2 beaches : Mandraki and Elias. They are long and wide, so much less crowded and so so beautiful. There is... More
