My favourite beach on Skiathos. Still has a wild, natural feel to it being not overloaded with sun loungers. Plenty of space to spread out. Lovely waves.

This beach is unusual for Skiathos in that it shelves very gradually, I've not found another on the island that does so. You can be 100m into the sea and still able to stand, which makes it great for kids. I takes some getting to however, you're in for a long walk unless you have your own transport

The beach is about a twenty minute walk from the number 23 bus stop, the walk is mainly through the pine forest. You can also get to the beach by car or motorcycle. The beach is sandy with shallow water, it does catch the wind if blowing from the North and can have large waves. There is a basic cafe/... More

Get off at bus stop 23, cross the road, walk around the buildings on the right and in 2 minutes you are in a stunning pine forest. Follow the path (it is signposted) to the beach. It takes about 20 minutes but it is worth the time, we saw no one else on our walk as most people seem to... More

We walked from bus stop 23 which was a very pleasant 40 minutes through the woods. There are a couple of other beaches next door but mandraki elias is the best in our opinion. Lots of sun beds and a good taverna.

A fantastic beach, a bit of a walk from bus stop 24, but well worth it. Easy by boat or car. The taverna is excellent.

Mandraki beach is gorgeous, one of the best on the island, with a beautiful walk through the forest on the way, it's stunning.

If you are going to a Mandraki beack with a local bus, get of at station number 23. You will than have some 30min walk through the pine forest, in the shade of some very tall and lovely old trees. The path is made of sand so its a bit tricky to walk. Other than that, we met no other... More
