Fantastic beach. Clean, quiet, and far enough out of the way to keep the party people away. My tip is stay away from the commercialism of the Banana beach and look around the corner, It's far more satisfying. Also if you do fancy an all over tan, then the far end is secluded and you will not offend anyone.

This is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset on Skiathos island. Even if you don't actually see the sun going into the see because of the mountains from the mainland Greece it is still a Beautiful Sunset location. We only been here for the sunset so I cannot say anything about the beach or the water in daytime.

When you drive from Skiathos to Koukounaries, a bit before the end of the ring road at Koukounaries beach you turn right and approach the beautiful beach of Agia Eleni. Such a clean and quiet beach, fully equipped with beach bar – restaurant, sun beds and umbrellas. Agia Eleni is famous for its marvelous sunset. Highly recommended to be visited... More

Really lovely beach which keeps the sun much later than most of the others. Couple of tavernas and watersports. Very clean and good for swimming as there are very few rocks.

Clean beach in a tanquil setting and the Agean see to throw yourself in to cool off. Off the track but a must to visit while on Skiathos.

Eleni/Sunset Beach has everything - two tavernas (both with lovely staff who waved hello everytime we went past!), beds near music playing from the tavernas if you fancy background noise, beds further away if all you want to hear is the sound of waves. Lovely sandy beach and clear water, lots of watersports if that's your thing with friendly instructors... More

Lovely beach . Sandy too . Very quiet when we were here . 2 tavernas . We used smaller of two all food comes pre packed . If we had known this would have used the older taverna . Food good though. 8 euros for two beds and umbrella but this same on all beaches.

We went to explore the wetland of Strofilia behind Koukounaries beach and then decided to walk to Eleni beach, since Koukounaries where very crowded and fussy. It is a short walk from there and the beach is very calm, with clear waters and a nice beach bar with reasonable prices and tasty snacks. The sunset from this beach is to... More
