This is the best beach to enjoy a sunset, also have basic taverna which food as always been pretty good and reasonably priced. The tropical bar was not open (sun bed dispute) however i believe it will open mid June. Sit and enjoy a drink with the sunset...enjoy.

liked this beach. Again a bit of a walk to get there without transport.Two deckchairs,bed and umbrella is £8...similar to prices all over the island but here some beds were broken and none had cushions so uncomfortable

Not too far a walk from bus stop 25. Beach ok food in restaurant ok not all its cracked up to be. Didn't get to see the sun setting.

The beach is mostly sand, some pebbles near the shore line. Swimming is good as there as the sea shelves gradually. The taverna is very nice with plenty of seating and good choice of food and drinks. When we were there in May there was only one taverna open and just a few sunbeds.

Eleni beach is not the best near Koukounaries, the shore line is fairly 'grity'. It is, however, easily accessible by car and has a very good cafe/bar. Only a few sunbeds were available on our visit in mid May.

In May the sunset is not spectacular, but I would imagine that, in summer, it probably is. All beaches in Skiathos are excellent, but, at sunset, a beer at Agia Eleni is worth the trip.

eleni beach can be reached by car from koukounaries , it has a taverna and small bar , peaceful place to while away a few hours on a simple lunch then take a stroll up the road for a fantastic cliff walk with views of hidden coves and looking over to the mainland , but be careful it can get... Every year I go to skiathos.. I love it! This beach and the bar at the far end is fantastic, fabulous attentive service. Great food nibbles and cocktails, chilled beers etc. sunset here IA amazing, see you in August!

This is the place to go to capture beautiful sunsets over the mainland...although the beach is a little out of the way, it is well worth it!
