The only sandy beach on the island. It's nice but really small, with many families and lots of children. It is difficult to find a subbed and umbrella, you should go really early.

Chrisi Milia beach is the only sandy beach on the island and it is beautiful!!! The water is shallow for quite a long way out so it is great for anyone who wants to just paddle in the water or who have children!! But, if you want to swim you just have to keep going until its swimming depth, which... More

If you swim in this beach you will understand why it is called Chrisi, meaning gold in Greek! It was the only beach in Alonnisos with sand that we found. It is also very shallow with crystal clear water. You can rent an umbrella and two sunbeds for 6 euros and there is also a bar/restaurant next to the beach.... More

This is Alonissos only sandy beach which means it can get rather crowded. However the sand and shallow water mean it is perfect for young children and beach games. there is a decent taverna with a lovely view over the beach and a handy coffee bar too.

This beach was recommended by the staff at the bus stop as being the best around. They were right! The water is amazing, the sandy beach enticing and I could stay here all fortnight if there wasn't other beaches and places I wanted to see.

Sandy beach with clear blue water, v. good for family with children because the water is not deep in the first 20 meters from shore. There is a very nice taverna near the beach with fresh fish and seefood.

Nice beach. Walked past rocks to hotel beach and got great service from waiter who collected our money. Brought drinks at same price as from the hotel snack bar.

Sandy beach (stony in places after the storms last winter) and the sea bottom was sandy and you had to walk a long way out to get to deep water. Taverna to one side. Bus service from Patitiri.

Xrisi Milia can be sepperated to 2 different beaches, the one under the taverna, and the other one under the hotel. The first one is more rocky than the other, while the second one is mostly sandy and more protected from the waves. Between these beaches there are rocks, but someone can have access between the two beaches cautiously. Under... More
