After being forced to motor under the bridge going East, we sailed back going West. Good job control tower and captain.

I have also ran across the Golden Gate Bridge (see: http://www.looptijden.nl/content/foto/2238.jpg) which still is my best bridge run, with a view of San Francisco, but my run over this bridge with a very nice over over Patras is a very good second place! I would recommend everybody who likes to run or walk to cross this bridge by foot and... More

Great bridge especially some nights when is full of lights. But it has really expensive tolls(13.9), this is unacceptable! It is better to go by ferry (6€)!

Pont Rio - Antirio is one of the most beautiful bridges in the world to walk or bicycle The view from the bridge is awesome, but the toll is 2 expensive ! This is the reason why so many people are using the ferries.

We are a family of 5. Our car from hertz didn't have ferry insurance so we split two kids went with me on the ferry- free if you don't have a car with you. My husband paid 13 euro and crossed the bridge with one of our daughters. If you ask me we got the better deal, but both parties... More

Take a ferry which is going from under the bridge over the water. It is cheaper and If you are photographer or not, you will make stunning pictures. CCheck the weather when you go!

This fantastic feat of graceful engineering welcomes the eye. The toll, though, is rather high at 13.20 Euro one way.

Beautiful to see, awesome to walk along, astonishing when you find out what is hiding underwater!! Whether someone is interested in modern engineering or not, learning about the methods used in order to have this bridge constructed is fascinating! Imagine the challenges and risks involved as the bridge had to be "planted" on a bedsea constantly moving due to earthquakes... More

One of the most beautiful attractions in the area. The longest cable bridge in the world. It takes just a few minutes to cross it by car whereas the alternative of taking the ferry-boat might take longer than 45 minutes.
