Friendly staff and fantastic food and drink. Shouldn't miss if you visit the city. Getting a historical culinary perspective in the office before the tour start accompanied by tasty bougatsa, koulouria and Greek coffee added nicely to the full experience. Thank you Despoina.

My mom and I took route 2 with Despina and had a GREAT time! It was our first morning in Thessaloniki and the food tour and history were the perfect introduction to the city. There were 4 of us total in the tour, so it was small and intimate. Despina started the tour in her kitchen/office with Greek coffee (I... More

I recently took the Eat and Walk tour, route 1, with a friend and my college-age cousin, and we had a wonderful time. We learned a lot about some of the local foods, and enjoyed sampling even the things we didn't care for (like spoon sweets). The guides were knowledgeable and spoke English well, and we even got a great... More

Had a great time here! My mom and I found this place via tripadvisor and so glad we did. We chose route 4, where we actually cook a three course lunch, and so glad we did. Esmeralda, the owner, was quick with the emails which I greatly appreciated. For about $45 each, we walked around two local markets with a... More

Scheduling a tour was extremely easy. Esmeralda was helpful and responded quickly to all my emails. We did Route 4: a tour of the market where we bought our ingredients for our cooking class. Despina was a great tour guide and teacher: explaining the history of the area; giving recommendations on where to go for dinner, bars, and breakfast; and... More

We did this food tour on the second day of our visit and I have to say this was the highlight of our trip and a great way to start our vacation. Because of this tour, we were able to learn about the history of Thessaloniki and taste the city's best local food and drinks. The tour started at Esmeralda's... More

My husband and I took tour no 1 with our two sons age 6 and 8. The girls were so friendly and their kitchen a wonderful cosy place for breakfast. They even served speciel things for the boys. The walk was nice and informative and Esmaralda was very patient with our impatient boys! A perfect way to see the city... More

We loved our tour of the city, tasting many different fun foods. It was great to learn about the history and see so much of the city, while eating! We also did the cooking class, which was awesome. However we ate too much :) They also gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants to visit and things to do in the... More
