Aristotelous Square is a very nice square, the largest in Thessaloniki and known for its distinctive shape like a bottle. There are many beautiful buildings around, many cafes and restaurants and more important: it is next to the sea. There is also a nice statue of Aristotelous, the famous Greek philosopher. This is a place to hang out many hours,... More

Always full of people. This central;ly located square is alway busy. During the day with people who stop for a coffee & businessmen who find it ideal for a business meeting. During the evening lots of different people have dinner or socialise in the different eateries & bars.

Nice space, but needs to be totally upgraded with graffiti cleaned and litter collected more regularly.

The most known square in Thessaloniki. In the center of the city, with a great view at the sea. You can find in the area everything you want: bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, shops. You can just enjoy a beautiful walk in a square full of crowd most time of the day.

I chose my hotel near the square. It was a good idea! In the night many restaurants and many bars full of people…and a view on the town and on the see really fantastic!

The Aristotelous Square is a very nice place for a walk, with many snack bars and cafes, and benches, too. There are majestic hotels down the lane, and at the end of it is the sea!

You can never find a full spot here. It's full of shops and cafés on the way to the harbor, but before you reach the shopping area they have a beautiful garden and a little chapel. I spent a good amount of time there going through everything. I was very excited to see how close it was to the sea.... More

The most famous square of Thessaloniki! Everything is nearby, the harbour, the shops, the coffee shops and the restaurants! But is also great if you only want to go for a walk.

A great insight into the hustle and bustle of the city. Wonderful bakeries filling the air with sweetness, coffee being brewed on every corner. You must take the chance to walk through the local markets in the area, and sample some tsipouro, and buy the best varieties of feta and olive oil you can ask for. I loved the shopping... More
