Gorgeous square on the way to the seaside. Lots of culture around and live performers to entertain and pass the time while you drink the freshly made Salep. Plenty of picnic benches to enjoy the scenery and knick knacks available for purchase.

If travelling to Thessaloniki, you can't miss the Aristotelous Square! Located in the centre of the city with a wonderful sea view! No matter if you are with friends or travelling solo, this is the place where you can come and enjoy life taking deep breath, feel the peace and tranquility and refresh from a long walk along the sea... This is the centtal point of Thessaloniki, where everybody gets together to talk politics (what else?). Lots of bars and restaurants, with sea view.

This place is perfect in summer and while a little cooler still relaxing in winter. Runs down to the sea with only a road and footpath in between.Plenty of cafes, cake shops and a mixture of clothes and other stores. Some luxury hotels there as well if you want a view of the sea.

The square is a very popular location with tourists and locals alike. It is busy and filled with fun and unique little shops, and cafes and restaurants. It is a great place to start the day when visiting Thessaloniki.

I have traveled to many cities in Europe, and I believe that Aristotelous Square is a real high class gem. Especially during the night, when the lights make all the neoclassical buildings look marvelous

I love every single part of Greece. I think Greece is the most beautiful country in the world. Thessaloniki on the other hand is beautiful not only as a city but from her people. I go to Aristotelous square each time i want to buy books. We had a greek coffee at a cafe there and then the shopping starts.... More
