Beautiful and huge square starting from the seafront and ending to the north. You can find various tavernas, coffee shops along the square plus numerous other commercial shops. Kapani (the closed grocery - meat - fish market) is also on a close distance.

I spend the whole night on a bench talking with a friend. I never felt that I should be afraid of the people there. Couples, friends.. So friendly!

The square runs some 4 blocks fro the sea and has a mix of retail establishments, the closer to the sea the more restaurants, almost a sea of them, would recommend both a day and night slow walk

Overall it's quite a nice square where you can surely find loads of restaurants and cafés. But in regards to its quality as a landmark, I would say it hadn't caught my attention that much. Along with the seaside promenade to me it's a bit overrated as far as Thessaloniki go. But to each their own...

The Aristotelous squared is closely linked with the town of Thessaloniki. Is a big square and ends at the harbour. Unfortunatelly it is not very clean and the last years could be also a bit dangerous wondering there afterhours.

Large impressive square. Calling it a square is probably not the right word choice. It's shape is more of a Crescent or semi circle, which makes it that much more interesting and visually stimulating. There was a large city fire in 1917 that destroyed much of the city. During this time the city was known for narrow streets and no... More

A big square in the centre of the city, by the sea, full of restaurants and caffes. It is surrounded by very interesting architecturally buildings and it is open to the sea.Very nice to have a coffee after walking at the centre.
