I've been there during an exchange programme. It was an amazing trip to Greece, in 2010. I felt in love with the food, places and culture.

Don't miss it. The museum inside is very interesting and the exhibits , but mostly the info of the history of Thessaloniki, are well displayed.

Apart from the fact that you must visit the most famous landmark of Thessaloniki you must go to the top not only to learn a bit about the interesting history of the tower but also to enjoy the great view and take lots of pictures. Choose a clear day though!

this museum is in a historically significant tower with great views of the sea and the city. Very little information is available in English. Read up before you go.

The most famous point in the town. Went with family.Interesting historical place with a nice view from the top to the sea and the town. Lots of steps so if with a toddler be ready for grrrr... If elderly or with disabilities, unfortunately almost impossible to visit.

Nice location right on the water. I will say beware of the questionable people outside of it. Who knows what they were after...

The monument which you must see !The White Tower was built in the 15th century and has become a symbol of the city. It is 33.9 meters tall and has a ground floor and six other floors. Each floor had a different exhibit.
