Think we wer museumed out at this point, but we flew through this. Would have appreciated it more with more English. Having said that, it is laid out very nicely and the displays are presented well.

One of the best museums in Thessaloniki. Byzantine Culture is presented in a very interesting and visually well structured way. It also has an architectural interest as a museum. Don't forget to visit the cafe as it is a hidden treasure!

It's located next to Archaeological museum. Admission price is 4 euro for adults. Great chance for Byzantine culture lovers. It's not the surely place to be seen in Thessaloniki.

We were recommended to go and see this museum. It was very nice museum with lots of different things to see, what made our visit even more special is that we got to see it for free as it happen to be the day when all museums were free of charge. The outside sitting area for the restaurant bit was... More

If you're in this beautiful town and by chance you have a rainy day, then you should visit this museum. The price for the ticket is 4€, and for the double you can also visit the nearby Archeological museum. You will find a nice collection of Byzantine art and historical artifacts. Kind of boring if you are not really into... More

This museum is a walk-though of the Byzantine era of the region, it covers every aspect of the time and will leave you better informed about this part of history.

As it was November it was not very busy which was good. A good mix of history relating to Thessaloniki. A very good layout. Has many beautiful frescoes, mosaics, icons that have come from early Christian tombs. Lots of everyday objects too. Very glad we went.
