Such a beautiful place to visit. Its a must when you come to Zakynthos island. When we was here is whas a bit late, we where basicly all alone, just another couple sharing the hole beach, we got to see the sunset and all the turtle nests. Be careful so you dont go too near them! It was a guard... More

We visited this beach two times. First one was about noon. It was too crowded, many people didn't want to understand that they are not allowed to pass beyond the boundaries and it cause many screams between them and preservations. The second time we went at about 8:30 in the morning. And I couldn't accept this was thr same beach.... More

You can only sit on a small portion of the beach by the surf as the rest is roped off to protect the turtle nests. As a result it is very crowded and you are squashed together like sardines. The people either side of my were constantly shouting down their mobiles which was so annoying we decided to leave. The... More

The beach and bay at Gerakas are undoubtedly one of the best places on Zante to visit. The sand is nice and thecsea shelves gently. But the wasps were an absolute nightmare and resulted in us having to curtail the stay. Maybe we were just unlucky but it ruined what should have been a great trip out.

Okay beach, very narrow area open to the public as there are turtle nests all along the beach. Had to walk a long way to find somewhere to sit down as space is at a premium. Patrolled by volunteers to protect the turtles but despite that still saw several idiots wandering around amongst the nests!!! Had we realised this was... More

We have been to a few of the beaches on the side of the island, and this one is our favorite so far. Clear water, white sand, plenty of umbrellas and beds for rent. Only limitation is no food service at the sun beds, but that seems like a silly complaint! And it's a walk up the hill to get... More

Magnificent beach but regardless the national park area for the kareta kareta turtles, there should be toilets and showers the least

A stunning beach with white sand and turquoise sea. It is reached by a sloping road, so not great for the less mobile, but it is so worth a visit if you can. The beach is populated by turtles who nest there at certain times of the year and they put safeguards in place that mean you can't walk on... More
