Secluded beach which you can only reach after a pretty steep climb down. Lot of steps. Remember you have to go all the way up again at some point. So this is not for the elderly people. But if you give it a shot you won't regret it.

After Porto Katsiki, this is the 2nd most beautiful beach in Lefkada (I mean the nature beauty). It's really long, so it's not as crowded as Porto and everyone can find a quiet place to stay. But near the stairs there is also lots of people and the psychedelic music comming from the bar is just awful and really loud.... More

The light blue of the water is just amazing! Since the beach is super long and it was in low season, we felt like having the beach for our own! Would love to go back and soak in the fantastic water again!

The nearest toilets are 350 steps up from the beach. I guess it is the price one has to pay for visiting an 'unspoiled' beach. Even than the one toilet available is in a bar and they seem not very pleased to allow beach guests to use it, even if they pay. Another negative remark has to be the loud... More

Although the last descent down to Egremni Beach is also considered in many reviews. What should actually be reviewed is the actual beach and it’s somewhat fabulous location. From high up the sea is a spectacular range of blues that touch a beach which is made up of very coarse whitish sand. After descending 356 steps (the Greeks should have... More

After circumnavigating Lefkada my girlfriend and I have decided that Eggremni is the best beach on the island! We have very strict voting criteria! Porto Katsiki and Megali Petra came a very close second (i got a bit paranoid about the potential for a rock to fall from the mega high cliff you sit under at Porto Katsiki and end... More

We loved this beach despite the trauma of parking above! The morning was damp after a thunderstorm, and we also thought we were being tactical in eating lunch up in the village of Athani first, given we wouldn't want to climb back up those 350 steps more than once in a day. However lunch took rather too long and it... More

I went here 3 days ago and i was a little dissapointed. The view was breathtaking from upstairs, but to get downstairs you have to get down(!!!and back up in the evening) 350 stairs. When you get down thw conditiona are ok, you can rent sunbeds or you can bring your own stuff. There is a beach bar if you... More

Well, spectacular beach, clean water and a view like no other ... like paradise - but the paradise was not there: overcrowded, no parking space. So avoid on high season. Lefkas has many other beaches "like paradise"
