A beautiful beach. A narrow road and 100-110 stairs worth. Go in the afternoon so you can have a swim and enjoy the sunset in the bar at the top of the stairs.
I think this is my number 2 in Greece - Egremni is number 1. Take sunblock and an umbrella - less stairs than egremni - and don't sit by the stairs, or the big boats from Nidri may arrive on top of you !
Amazing drive to the beach, breathtaking panorama, wonderful sea, great location for snorkeling. In Top 5 places each beach hunter has to see. Parking: 5 EUR/car/day. Every single cent is worth. No wheelchair access.
No need to write a lot. One of TOP 3 beaches in Greece after 13 years of visiting greek islands. Real 'must see' for beach hunters :)
Even though getting there isn't very easy, if you are in Lefkas, this beach should be among your first must-see places. It isn't very close to the city of Lefkas, but at least one visit is worthy. The view and the colors of the water are unforgettable...
I concur with the previous revue. Snarly youth rips €5 off you on arrival, big ferries arrive and unload 100's of tourists who leave all their detritus and then depart. After a 55 km drive from Vasiliki, we arrived in this amazing place. The parking fee is 5€, but if you feel up to it you can park your car on the side of the road. If you do that, keep in mind that its not guarded and the road is preety narrow and overcrowded! Two sunbeds and one umbrella... More
Great beach, beautiful, nothing similiar to anything I have seen before. A few things that are less nice: The beach is far and takes time to get to(but worth it), the beach has pebbles and walking on it with or without shoes hurts a lot, the water had a lot seaweed in it and its not nice... Overall - go... More
During our seven days stay, we visited twice. Once we took stairs (a hundred of them) and the second time it was a part of the cruise. Both times it was very crowded, especially the second time when two cruise boats arrived there at the same time. Boats stay there for only about 45 minutes, including the time you need... More
