We returned from Sidari 19th October. The resort is very tired, in need of a good wash and brush up and very limited for things to do if the weather aint good. To its credit however, there are numerous eating and drinking venues. But also be aware, if you are unlucky and need to purchase anything other than tourists gifts... more

Just came back form Sidari. Memories is a good eating place with a reasonable priced set menu. The waiters are friendly and helpful. Sea Monkeys is on the beach and is owned by Brits, friendly and free sunbeds. Beach is reasonably clean and the sea is safe for children to swim.Try eating at the Mexican Resturant, very large portions. Be... more

My sister & I (24 & 27) went to Sidari in August 2008 & had a really good time. We wanted a resort that was lively enough to have fun but not an 18-30's type place. There are loads of bars there & a couple of clubs (which don't charge you to get in) rough cost was about 3 euro... more

Have just returned from Sidari. As with previous reviews, found it very 'British'. If you want a minature Benidorm this is the place. We stayed at the Joanna Studios in Melitsa. They were brilliant!! Well run, clean, friendly and relaxing. It felt more like staying with relatives. Aris, the owner, (hope I spelled it right) was brilliant. He was a... more

Just spent a week from 23 June – 30 June 2008 at the Mega Idri apartments. If your looking for somewhere tranquil then look no further, the apartments were very clean. The owner cleans the pool every morning and the cleaner comes in every second day. The only downside to some people would be the ten minute walk from the... more

You should not come to Sidari if you cannot stand the Brits on holiday, but at low season it can be an excellent choice, especially if you are in the Canal d'Amor area or Melitsa village just behind it. Indeed, I found the most authentic tavernas and restaraunts were those furthest from 'the strip'. Joanna's Studios, where I stayed, were... more

I agree with other reviewers that most of Sidari is very commercial and aimed at the British market, but there are some lovely tavernas if you stay away from the main strip. The Sailors in particular is very good, with real Greek food, and is frequented by the locals. Also worth a try is The Family, Mythos and The Symposium.... more

Sidari is a very English resort. Most of the bars cater purely for the english. Sidari is ideal for all types of visitors. We felt very safe at all times. It is not a large resort but there is a huge supply of restaurants. It is worth taking a walk away from the main drag as there is more of... more
