Lovely place for a family holiday

Really nice little port, lots of tavernas, restaurants, and shops. A week flew by. Plenty of trips to go on.

There's something captivating, especially after the season. Calm, unhurried atmosphere, Harbour with a few fish boats, few yachts, views. Same harbour represents climate like some of the stories of Hemingway. Obviously it's not Portofino but worth going to and stop, even for a coffee in the terrace at the harbour. Feel the atmosphere. Ouite attrative is also the same view... More

What a picture perfect port in Greece where you can spy Albania. The people are so friendly, the restaurants and bars a treat. Walking is the favorite mode of transport as many of the streets are small and tight. A fun place where tour boats are plentiful and get you to Old Town.

My girlfriend and I traveled to Corfu in July. We planned our trip extensively with TripAdvisor, so with this being the number two rated thing, we made sure to squeeze it in during the Greek-island-hopping portion of our trip. We only had a day and a half on Corfu. That being said, we drove over an hour to get here... More

The last time I was there, 20 years ago, this was a wonderful fishing village with a couple of taverns, a couple of dozen fishing boats, a deserted beach and an interesting castle. Now it has become a cheap and chaotic mass tourism destination with small streets jammed with bars, taverns, fast food joints, cheap touristic shops, rentals of cars... More

Well worth spending a few hours there, the castle isn't up to much and a very unstedy path leading to it. Plenty of little coves and beaches and places to eat.

We visited Kassiopi whilst on holiday and although we only spent the afternoon there we would certainly consider returning again. We were out of season but it was relatively quiet and tranquil.
