Bit of a climb

worth the climb for the fabulous view of the harbour area and a cafe for a cold drink when you get to the top.

The best view of Parga is when you climb there. It is very peaceful place where you can sit and relax, also you can read a book. Perfect place in Parga

Be sure to wear comfortable and study footwear and take some water with you - the effort is well worth it. The climb up to the Castle is up steep paths but you can take it easy with regular stops at the many shops or bars and the ground around the Castle is uneven and rough so take care. If... More

We were on an Neilson holiday so were getting fitter esp climbing up steps but the castle has a steepish climb on some slightly uneven ground so you need to be a little careful. Views are impressive. some of the shops on the narrow passageways down are quite charming and the prices are pretty good as well. Liked Parga in... More

A casual walk or climb depending how fit you are is well worth it, one for the amazing views and another for the food. Oh and by the way, there is an amazing leather shop on the way or down with good quality products at very reasonable prices. After enjoying the view we had a Mediterranean omelet as a snack,... You must be " sure footed" as the ground is uneven BUT the views of Parga harbour are beautiful. Also from the other side of the headland the sunsets are worth going to see

A very pleasant place to walk with wonderful views of from on high Parga. Visible the bay with the chapel and a great location for unique pictures of beautiful Parga - both during the day and at night.

Fortress used to defend the harbour at Parga. Part of wall has collapsed over the years. Worth seeing if you are interested in History and old Castles.

Come here for a view and maybe a cafe? The castle is mostly ruins, not really maintained either. Watch your step - the old stones might collapse!

Thank Syril
